8. Dawn continues to walk across the woods, such majestic woods it is seeing how everything is glowing around her, with some of the strangest animals lurking around, but still Dawn kept her cool regardless, especially since she had her small sword with her. 

“I wish I’d at least have my warrior outfit, so I could have more weapons with me...” Dawn says this out loud as she keeps walking further in these mysterious woods, until she hears a loud noise coming from one of the trees, causing her to immediately react. She continues to walk, and then starts to run as the sound follows her. 

A beast jumps out from the trees as soon as she keeps going and starts to attack Dawn. It is a dog creature with two heads, one purple head and the right is a gray head with a muscular body.

Dawn fights the thing off of her, taking out her small sword, about to stab the hell out of it, but suddenly a smoke bomb is thrown causing the creature to faint completely. Dawn looks up and sees Night sitting on a tree branch up there, looking smugly at her saying, “surprised?” 

He jumps down and stretches his hand out to help her up. 

Night is wearing his warrior outfit, which is a navy blue jumpsuit, with a black cape on and hood, he has dark blue boots on, and his hair is short, messy, and dark blue. He has a blue necklace on him that has his real name on it, Newen, and a black earring on his left ear, along with black gloves sprinkled with gold on it. 

He hands Dawn a white rose saying, “for you.” 

“Thanks.” 

He suddenly frowns, “hey, is that a bruise on your neck?” 

“That's probably the shadow, there are nothing but shadows around here.” 

Night looks around with her, "yeah, you're probably right, well have you seen your brother around?” 

“He’s with Lady Maldu.” 

“Before I went to fight, he and I were talking together about Daylight, and how she just disappeared one day, wandering off probably on this very large island, you know? So he was telling me how he really wants to find her, and I want her to be found soon too. Seriously, it’s painful that a warrior is missing, so painful you know, it's like we can't get anything done.”

Gesturing all his words with a dramatic attitude, Dawn just casually listens to him, until it hits her, "but Dusk and I tried to find her before, and that's when."-

He lifts his brow, "you two lost your memory? Yeah, we all know of course, word goes fast around here."

"So why does he want to go back, what if it's just."-

"Dawn," he places his hand on her shoulder, "that's why he is with Lady Maldu, they are taking it up with our Creator to make sure that they can still find a way, with all of us involved."

"Okay, hopefully we can find her, that is our second main goal."

Night taps her shoulder, having a smirk on his face, “I’m sure you and Dusk as the first goal are doing pretty good.”

Dawn just chuckles at him as he proudly says this.

As they start walking, they run into a circular body of water that is near the Sirenous waterfall, full of different colors and log chairs surrounding it. 

Night starts saying, “I remember when I first bathed in there, my butt was so cold, I never felt something like that before.” 

“Shh, do you hear that?” 

“Hear what?” 

"Man...That creature already traumatized me, I just need to sit.” Dawn says, needing a break.

Night helps Dawn take care of her wound, then he starts saying to her, “Twilight is a mess himself, isn’t he?” 

“Yeah...” Dawn softly answers.

“He used to love helping us, helping people, but now it’s like something has just overcome him, like he’s hurt by something, I mean he taught us some stuff during training, especially you, but now it’s like we’re not even friends anymore, like we're just blockades or...I don't know, like he just doesn't care anymore.” 

“He does seem hurt, but we’re going to work this out,” she looks up at Night, “we will.” 

“We?” 

“Dusk and I.” 

“Oh good.” 

Dawn laughs a little, "why don't you want to help?"

"Because...I don't feel like dealing with Twilight." He laughs a little as well, then he looks at the creature, with Dawn looking too and saying, “well, the creature is still knocked out, maybe we should...” 

Suddenly the creature gets up and tries to attack them again, causing Night and Dawn to attack it, but as they are fighting, a sudden whip comes across it, taming the creature. 

“Who did that!” Night shouts.

Midnight comes up to them saying, “you guys okay?“ “Yeah, but what was that?” 

“Roid, my pet, he is a Rommancer (caretaker) he ran off during battle, and I need to get him back, I still have three hours left." 

“He sure is scary looking, what happened to the other Roid?”

Midnight looks at them sadly, "one of the Adens got him."

"Oh man," Night places his hands on his hips, "sorry about that."

"It's alright, it happens in war. Also the other head is fake, the purple head, it’s to scare the Aden’s, you know, after what happened to Roid and I.” 

“Oh, that’s why it wasn’t...” Dawn notices. 

“Moving, yeah, anyways what are you two doing out here?” 

“I’m helping Dawn find answers.” 

“Their memories, I thought I said.”- 

Night cuts off Midnight, “no, about Daylight's whereabouts.” 

“Oh, okay good, well I have to go on, get back safely you two, okay?” 

"We will." Dawn says.

"As always." Night says like it's obvious.

Midnight leaves them, then Night and Dawn end up falling asleep near the place. 

But around six in the morning, they are woken up by Afternoon, who has a worried look completely overtaking his face, he is wearing his robe like peace outfit that’s blue and white, with gold trousers and blue shoes on. His hair is down and he has no jewelry on at all or gloves. 

“Guys, Lady Maldu is sick!” 

“What?!” Both Night and Dawn say.

“Here, come quick, follow me.” 

They follow Afternoon to Lady Maldu's home, seeing her lying in her bed, while everyone surrounds her, but Twilight and even Dusk are not there. 

Midnight lies next to her saying, “what happened?” 

“I think it has something to do with…" She suddenly starts coughing, then says, "Daylight.” 

“Sorry it took us a long time to get here, Lady Maldu.” Dawn says, with her, Night, and Afternoon rushing in her home.

“Yeah, Roid attacked Dawn twice last night, I had to save her and all.” 

“True, but unnecessary at the moment.” She glances at him then back at Lady Maldu.

“Sorry,” he sheepishly says before clearing his throat and saying, "so like, what's going on."

Noon gives her some tea saying, “this tea has Kirin in it, it is bound to help her, this is what heals us when we suddenly have a cold too.” He looks at Night as if that was to answer his question.

Night nods at this before he calls for his black tiger, whose fur heals people, sending it to Maldu. “Thank you, Night.” 

“My pleasure, Lady Maldu.” 

Midnight holds his mothers hand saying, “please tell me you’re going to be okay.” 

“I will be fine, this is all for a reason.” 

“Where is Dusk?” Dawn questions, looking around and noticing that he isn't there. 

“I sent him to follow Daylight’s tracks in the Blind Forest, where she was seen last.” 

“He…Alone? After what just happened??” 

“Yes, he wanted to do it, he wanted to find her, dearly, but don't worry, you are all going with him.” 

“See Dawn, I told you.” Night confirms.

“Aren’t you going to finish your tea?” Evening asks, "it will soothe you, Lady Maldu.“

"Not yet, let us wait for him.” 

“Wait for who else- Oh?” Dawn turns around with everyone else.

Twilight walks in wearing his warrior outfit, staring at everyone, walking towards Maldu saying, “what makes you so sick, Lady Maldu.” 

“Have you ever thought of that!” Dawn replies. 

Twilight takes off his mask revealing his handsome and saddened face. 

He looks at Dawn saying, “maybe I do make her sick, maybe, because you guys see me as being arrogant, evil, and selfish, not even thinking about what I came from, or why I’m mentally and physically bothered all the time.” 

Midnight replies with, “then leave the past behind, just like the rest of us, if you want to feel better, then think of now and your future, not about your horrific past.” 

Then Morning starts saying, “I lost my father and sister, but I’m staying strong, aren’t I?” 

“Yeah, and I lost everyone I ever loved, and I had to physically kill those ones who caused it myself! And you guys are going to understand now because it’s been years, and I’ve told you all about my problems, but no one seemed to care as the family we are to be!” 

Twilight turns to Dawn and looks her straight in the eyes, saying, “and you, you actually came to me, and genuinely asked me, what was wrong, you were the only one who seemed to care, it seems, because ever since your brother came that night and told you to stay away from me because of how I acting instead of being like family as warriors, you listened, so easily and made everything you said to me sound fake, so that is why I broke your crystals! You both needed to be redone.” 

"W-What...?" Dawn softly lets out.

Everyone goes silent as he continues, but Evening cuts him off saying, “you are acting like a child, you need to know that our Creator does not approve of this.” 

Twilight turns to her and says, “oh, like you understand hardship posh princess, when you and Night are freaking royalty!"

“Hey, you better calm down right now! You don’t talk to Evening like that.” 

“What are you going to do? Night.” 

"I'd whoop your ass, I would."

Noon starts shouting, “hey! We should have just heard each other out, and then let our past die out, so we can do our jobs now.” 

Twilight smirks at Dawn saying, “see, he understands, unlike I thought you did. This is why I broke your crystals! And why they deserve to be broken.” 

“So, you’re heartbroken over something I now don’t remember?” 

“Dawn, you do remember! You never went to the mountain! You keep sucking up to Dusk, how about you be yourself for a change! You told me about how you always wanted to break free."

Once they all go silent again, Dawn turns away from them all. Then Lady Maldu yells out, “stop! Twilight, no matter how you feel, you all are going to help Dusk find Daylight, I’ll be protected when you guys leave.” 

“No mother, that’s dangerous, who’s going to watch you?” 

“I will be fine, now all of you need to ride out with your pet protectors and do what I say, head straight for Mt. Paradoxia and you will find your way to Daylight.”

Afternoon starts saying, “are you sure?”

“Yes, dearly sure.” She shifts her eyes to Twilight, "I'll talk with you once everyone gets back."

Midnight kisses his mother on the cheek and says, “I will lead them well.” 

Lady Maldu nods and finally drinks her tea, watching them all head out with all their pets, Midnight with Roid, Twilight with his horse Meteor, Noon with his small red dragon Moonlight, Afternoon with his Medito bird Galaxy, Evening with Aster, Night with his black tiger named Maris, Morning with her wolf Lunar, and Dawn with her horse Rein.
