As the people understand, the village leader walks up to her with a sadden face saying "You will be back, right?"
She turns to him ever so boldly to say, "he will make sure I am."
Then he nods as the people say their goodbyes loudly as Maro admires the glistening trees once more before turning back around and saying "I can take this with me, right?" Tugging on the robe.
"Yes your power, yes." He bows when saying this.
Then with glistening eyes, she says back "I was just going to walk off with it, thankfully I asked first, right?"
"Yes, your power."
She slowly smiles before returning to the guards, walking back down the path out of the tree covered village to the open, ruined, dead from battle grassland that hasn't seemed to recover yet.
"The outside looks more of what I am used to, dead and lonely covered land."
Her golden eyes pierce the fields as she stares to it while in the carriage, with one of her guards saying "don't say such things."
She turns to him as soon as everyone gets in the carriage, with it moving away, she says to the guard directly, "when I rule that place, I will turn Naminek and Doulishi into something that will remind you of what power looks like."
Her guard looks to her, slightly confused.
Maro snickers, "idiot, I mean I will have rule in place once again, he won't get away with it for long..."
From Our Heroes: The Crown Of Bronze And Wood....
Tell me what you all think about this, I would love to hear your thoughts on this three post passage lol. I've been building up on this story lately and will be sharing random passages on here.

As they all stop before the village leader, he prepares a robe for her to wear.
"Fit for a ruler of an empire." He smiles happily.
She grabs the robe and her guards put it on for her.
"It feels good, is it all silk?" "Yes, princess, it is all golden silk."
"You look like a river of gold" One of her guards complements her.
"Yes, I feel like it" She answers them before looking up and around, before twirling with a sudden big smile on her face, "it's very fitting of me indeed."
Her guards nod as she turns to the people, saying "Dance with me."
As they all gather together in the middle of the village, Maro starts dancing and they all join in, creating a song of pure joy.
Once the dance finishes, Maro can just feel the connection she has with this Doulishi village, by the wind alone, it calls to her, a place she'd love to rule, a place that she wants to bring up.
The people here haven't let her go like the empire has, but is dancing with her, gravitating towards her.
Maro has never felt so happy and alive.
With the biggest smile, she stops and bows to them all saying "If I ruled here, we'd do happy dances everyday."
The people agree as her guards nod once again, but one of the guards looks a bit rushed, as if needing to tell her something.
She notices and instantly loses her smile.
She walks over to the guard and says with a stern tone of voice, "what is it now, Calshi?"
"We must get back" He says without hesitation, "he'll be up in an hour, you must be home before he sees you have gone without his permission, this will not look good on you if we don't get back in time."
Frowning, arms crossed, she turns around murmuring, "forget him."
The guard stops her, "language!"
The village people notice as she turns around and says to him, "must I say it in your language then?" She raises a brow before letting off a smirk and stepping back, saying calmly "I will say my goodbyes, for now."
Turning to them, she lets them know of her leaving...

When Maro came out from her ride into the grassy pathway that sank her golden spike heels into the ground, she looked up and stared into the forest before her, not even listening to her guards calling for her to walk with them.
Fact is, she didn't even care that her feet were sinking into the glowing distant grass.
But eventually she turned to them with a face half blinded by the sun, and holding together is a half smile from her golden lips.
Looking at them past her golden eye jewelry, she says softly with a timid but monotone voice, "I want to see the rest of my home now, please move forward, I'll walk in the midst of you four."
Her guards walk right with her, two in front of her, two behind her.
But as they walk forward, they make it to a village, and while in this village, passing all the children, parents, elders working and playing music, Maro can't help but be amazed.
The entire scenery was as she remembered, but much brighter, more vivid, shining with happiness unlike before.
All the people come out from their tent homes and house bushes to greet the late Emperess's child.
Then the village leader comes to her and bows before her, causing everyone to stop what they are doing to do the same.
With this, bowing before Maro, the village leader holds his staff before her and says "welcome home, our princess."
And without saying a word, Maro bows with them, but lifting herself up first, she says "stand up."
Doing so effortlessly, the village leader escorts her to see the rest of the village to greet everyone.
A forest community covered with trees and bush homes, with the sun's light glaring through the trees as if watching everyone here, keeping them happy and safe from the cold winds that approach the area outside of the trees.
"Look at this place" She says while greeting the people and walking down the path, "it's just as I remembered, but less sadness, less gloom, but actual happiness" She stops, "this is what I wanted when I was here."

Is anybody else a little stressed out about the AI stuff? Like it got me thinking that all the pictures I have or make is going to get me blocked or something.
I ended up fixing the pictures that were AI already and I changed the book cover and thumbnail for The Crown Of Bronze And Wood and made it with Canva, which they said you could use so. But man...My writings are my world, I don't want to get blocked or something lol.
If only I was an artist man, artists are so lucky.
