The Puraki Karqa festival is celebrated three times a year, during the seasons that some crops they produce usually won't grow until the next season. The festival also consists of a ritual ceremony, in wich the Puraki folk bury pieces of textile clothing, ceramics, plant species and an animal sacrifice for the God Teros in order to show appreciation for a succesful season of harvest. This ritual is made mainly by the chief of the town, but other members of the commnity can practice small rituals for their houses and ensure the protection of their family in the hands of Teros.
