If it was what Sora was doing, Aoi might as well do the same. So he got up, and opened his own blue suitcase. So he took out clothes and hangs them in his wardrobe, and pretended to not notice the looks Sora gave him from time to time. As Aoi had already unpacked most of his things already before, it didn’t take long for him to be done, and returned to his bed to notice a black guitar case on Sora’s bed. It got him a bit excited, as Aoi had a guitar too hidden under his bed, and he loved playing on it. It would be awesome if they shared something.
“Cool! Do you play guitar?” he asked.
“Not really. It’s a bass.”
This time Aoi could actually hear the smile on Sora’s lips. It didn’t matter that it wasn’t the same instrument; just to have something in common was a good thing.
“Okay. I have a guitar. We could play together someday, if you want to. Are you in the other music class?” Aoi couldn’t help his happy smile, as Sora seemed happy to talk about this subject. As everyone in his class seemed to know each other so well, the thought of another new music student made him feel like he was less lonely.
“No, I’m in the art class. But I wouldn’t mind playing together someday.” Sora turned to him with a small smile on his lips. He picked up the bass case from his bed, and came over to Aoi with it reached out towards him. “Can I see your guitar?”
Sora didn’t have to ask twice, Aoi almost jumped up from the bed, and got down on the floor to bring out a white guitar case from under his bed. He got back up on his feet and handed it over to Sora, and grabbed his too. Back on his bed opened he the black bass case to lay eyes on Sora’s bass. It was a black and white bass made by, funnily enough, the same company which had made Aoi’s white guitar. A quite well-know company. It wasn’t the cheapest bass out there, even if it wasn’t the most expensive either.
“Nice. Do you have a favorite band?” Aoi asked, and looked back up to Sora who was checking out his guitar.
“Yeah, the GazettE. I like your guitar.” Sora touched the strings lightly, and then gave the guitar back to Aoi with his small smile.
“The GazettE… Aren’t they Japanese?” Aoi took his guitar, and gave the bass back to Sora. He didn’t know what to think of what Sora said however, as he were sure the band Sora mentioned were Japanese. He had heard about them before.
“They are. I never said I wasn’t.” Sora stuck out his tongue and laughed.
Aoi also laughed, with a smile. “Why didn’t you just tell me?”
“I was born in Chiba, I know how to speak Japanese.” Sora said in Japanese.
“Nice, I’m from Osaka.”
