After a few moments, I heard Leo say, “I’ll check on her. She's probably a little embarrassed about spitting her food everywhere.”
“Oh lovely. Thanks, Leo,” I heard my dad say, and I rolled my eyes.
Oh my God. Leo was such an ass.
Looking at myself in the mirror, smoothing down my dress. If I knew he was coming for dinner, I would have put on some makeup or dressed a little nicer. My thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door.
“Come in.” I spun to face him. Leo was standing there in all his tanned, muscular glory, a black button up top hugged his chest and equally showed off his muscular arms. His stature made me want him more than ever.
“What do you want?” I asked, crossing my arms across my chest, showing him that I was still furious with his lies and attempts at embarrassing me.
He shut the door and locked it. “I want you,” he responded, slowly walking toward me.
Trying to hold my ground, I stood there, though I felt my knees going weak. “Well, you can't have me.” My shaky voice gave away that I was lying. Who was I kidding, of course he could have me. He could have me anywhere, place, or time that he wanted. Just seeing him looking at me made me giddy. He backed me up against the wall that was conveniently placed directly behind me, and picked me up so easily. I felt like I was a doll, or a small child. He kissed me passionately and I fell apart beneath him. I wrapped my legs around his middle, tightly. He pushed me further into the wall and I let him kiss my neck. My want for him made me forget where we were.
That was until my dad called out, “You kids alright in there?”
Leo swiftly put me back on my feet and unlocked the door. My head was spinning, and I struggled to keep myself balanced. Leo quickly paced out of the room, and after I had a few moments to steady myself, I followed.
The rest of dinner, Leo and I spent time looking at each other, taking glances where we could, without being too obvious. Though, his sister seemed to catch on at one point. She watched us, looking at one then the other. Smiling, as though seeming to approve.
