"So you haven't seen each other in 7 months?" Maria sits down on the couch.

"Yup! I really missed her..." Soushi smiles and looks at Clementine over his shoulder.

Clementine pretends not to see him and continues to click through the channels.

"Why haven't you seen her in so long?" Dani scoffs,"Because she so rude..."

Clementine pauses in her constant button clicking and thinks.

Yeah shes been rude to them not answering their questions and not being very polite.

She hasn't even said thank you for anything.

Maybe she could-

No what the fuck is she thinking. She's not supposed to give these people false hope.

Soushi stares at the 14 year old stupidly.

"Uhh... Oh she's not talking to you guys is she?"

They all shake their head no and Dani snorts sarcastically.

Soushi looks at Clementine,"Hey Clem you mind if I tell them?"

Clementine shrugs pretending not to care. She let's off a calming scent noticing his anxious smell.

She actually cares a lot because the last family she was with was...

Lets just say she lost her virginity to their 18 year old alpha boy.

"Well the last family Clem was with, they weren't very um..." Soushi rubs his nape and looks at Clementine.

She raises her brow like 'what are you waiting for?' And shrugs.

Soushi looks back to Maria and David,"They weren't very nice haha... And um... They wouldn't let me visit Clem... Then she was put back in foster care and my parents sent me to my aunt's for the rest of the school year... So it was hard to visit her since my aunt thinks she's a bad influence..."

"I bet she is..." Dani says rudely.

Clementine rounds on him glaring.

"Ha! See! She hates me..." Dani points at her, growling.

"I'll have you know you little pikachu looking asshole that you're being as much of an asshole as I am!" She spits venom.

"Ok you two enough!" Maria says sternly, and let's a threatening scent off.

Clementine scoffs and turns back to the tv.

Soushi laughs nervously and stands,"Um could I borrow Clem for a sec?"

Clementine glares at him.

"Oh yeah of course..." Maria says.

Soushi leans down and grabs clementines arm.

He drags her to the kitchen, and clementine spits snarls the whole time.

He finally lets her go and she shoves him away,"What the fuck Soush?"

"What the hell are you doing Clem!" He whispers angered.

"What the fuck do you mean?" Clementine asks him.

"Those people took you in Clem!" Soushi spits,"You can't be rude to them!"

"But Dani is such a little fucking asshole and-"

"And You need to deal with it Clementine!" He pokes her shoulder hard.

Which pisses Clementine off and she shoves him again snarling,"You know better than to touch me!" She whispers harshly.

"I'm the only one aloud to touch you!" Soushi growls.

Clementine growls loudly in response.

Soushi glares and slams his hands on either side of her head pinning her to the wall,"Omega heel-" he mutters darkly.

Yeah Clementine isn't a pussy.

And she doesn't normally listen to people but.

Orders by an alpha while shes pinned against a wall is scary for any omega.

So she shuts up and cowers.

If it were any other alpha she would've snapped at them and defended herself.

But this is Soushi and she knows that he won't hurt her.

Soushi sighs and leans closer to her scenting a calm warm cinnamon,"You don't have to be so mean all the time Clem... Just try saying thank you and answering their questions with at least a yes or no..."

Clementine stares at her feet and nods quietly.

Soushi backs off,"I'm sorry I growled at you but you weren't listening..."

"I'm sorry too..." She mutters to him.

Soushi whines,"Now I feel bad..."

Clementine grumbles and hugs him letting off her warm vanilla and Carmel.

Soushi breathes it in greedily and he nuzzles her scent glands on her neck.

Clementine whines and pulls away clapping a hand over her gland,"Easy- damn..."

"S-sorry!" Soushi turns bright red,"I just haven't seen you in so long I-" he sighs,"I missed your scent..."

Clementine grumbles and rubs her head against his shoulder.

Soushi smiles and runs his hand through her hair petting her.

Clementines omega preens and she fights the grateful whine that rises in her throat.

"There... Happy?" She mutters and walks back towards the living room.

Soushi purrs loudly in response and follows her like a giddy pup.

Clementine didn't put her hand over her glands because he was hurting her.

Scent glands are an extremely sensitive area.

If messed with too much they'll get sore and hurt.

But if messed with the right way.

It can arouse someone in seconds.

She did it because he was arousing her and she almost showed it.

Clementine goes back into the living room and sits down in front of the tv and starts clicking through the channels again.

Shes a little more relaxed now.

Soushi makes needless conversation with her foster parents and he makes them laugh and giggle.

Until a certain subject comes up.

"Oh yeah I had my first rut years ago..."

Clementine settles on one channel but keeps her attention on the conversation.

"Ehh... I'm not a fan of rutting..." David says,"That is unless I have my omega with me..."

"Ew dad stop it..." Dani scrunches his nose up.

"Are you an alpha?" Soushi looks at Dani.

"Ah-yeah of course I am!" Dani says as if it were obvious.

"Have you had a rut yet?" Soushi asks.

"Oh no... He hasn't had his first rut yet..." David says matter of factly.

"God You guys talk about it as if its not embarrassing!" Dani blushes.

Soushi sniffs him,"Smells like pre rut to me..."

David nods,"Yeah I thought the same thing..."

Dani turns bright red but also looks slightly terrified,"What!"

Clementine snorts at his scared scent.

"Hey!" Dani growls at her,"Stop laughing at me you orphan!"

Clementine is normally chill about insults being spit at her.

She normally will yell back or throw an insult or two back but that's about it.

But that.

She Will never stand for being called an orphan.

She rounds on him growling threateningly and she stands.

Dani narrows his eyes and snarls back his hackles raising.

"You pups stop it now!" David stands growling.

Dani immediately backs down and looks at the floor.

Clementine doesn't though and continues to growl.

She doesn't feel safe in this house.

It smells foreign and wrong. These people aren't her family and there are 3 different alphas in this room and they're all giving off too much scent and it's not only freaking her out because she can smell Maria's anxious scent from here.

"Clementine stop it..." David snarls at her.

She doesn't like that. She doesn't know david well and its freaking her out.

So instead she snarls at him.

David's hackles raise and he growls back.

Maria just stays on the couch.

"Omega. back down." Soushi growls from the corner.

Clementine stops snarling and she backs away quietly.

Soushi stands and stands partially in front of her,"Sorry..." He says for her.

David stops his growling and rubs his face,"Its fine..." He turns to Dani glaring.

"Wha- nuh-uh! She started it!" Dani yells.

"No name calling anymore Dani... That was rude and I'm sure Clementine didn't appreciate it..." Maria stands and let's her calming cherry pie scent fill the room.

Clementine looks at Dani,"Don't call me a fucking orphan short shit!" She spits.

Soushi reaches over and squeezes her wrist tight,"Stop it-" He growls lowly.

She glares at Dani but shuts up.

"Ok..." Maria grabs Dani by his shirt and leads him out,"Bed time..."

"But mum! I didn't do anything!" Dani whines.

"Don't worry Clementine will be in trouble also..." Maria scoots him along,"Go on. Bed."

Dani growls annoyed and stomps up the stairs.

Maria comes back into the living room,"Now... Clementine..."

Soushi moves out of the way and stares at her.

Clementine grumbles and shakes her head.

"We know this is weird for you... And we know that you aren't... You aren't as obedient as some Omegas..."

There it was.

Shes not an obedient omega.

Ok.

Here it comes.

They're gonna ask if she wants to leave or they're gonna say that she needs to leave if she can't be normal or-

"But... The next time Dani says something like that let us handle it ok honey..." Maria says softly.

Clementine looks up at her.

She's shocked at the words she just used, even though she won't show it.

No telling her to leave?

No telling her to get out?

"Now then... David and I are gonna get ready for bed... You can see Soushi out ok..." She smiles warmly.

Clementine nods numbly.

The adults leave the room and her hands immediately start to shake and her breathing comes in fast heaves.

Soushi stares at her solemnly and reaches over and pulls her into a hug.

He scents her heavily and nuzzles against her neck.

Clementine can't help but whine and cling to him.

He's the only stable thing she has.

"I hate this..."

"I know..." Soushi rubs her back and hugs her tightly "I know I'm sorry..."

Clementine holds him close.

She doesn't cry or even have tears in her eyes.

She just hates standing up to alphas.

Its scary rally because they can easily out muscle her.

That's why Soushi understands because the first time he used a command on her after his first rut she snapped and snarled at him.

And when he realized he commanded her he apologized but she started breathing hard and shaking.

Its because she holds onto the fear until after the alpha backs down or shes away from them.

Soushi sniffs her and he freezes.

He sniffs again and he pulls back to look at her concerned.

Clementine thinks he's acting fucking retarded and she raises a brow,"The Fuck is wrong with you?"

"Are You in pre heat?" He mutters looking her over.

"I-"

Wait is she?

Clementine sniffs herself and thinks about how she feels.

She smells sweet and she feels weird.

"I suppose so..." She mutters.

Then she remembers why she was worried.

Fuck.

Shes never had a heat in a foster family's home.

Since they never kept her for more than a week it was easy to just have it at the 'heat' rooms at the foster home.

But she's never had one in a foster family's home.

Never.

"Shit..." She mutters and rubs her forehead irritated.

"You ok?" Soushi rubs her arm.

Clementine never liked physical affection to much which is weird for an omega but.

She figured out a long time ago that Soushi was a touchy alpha so she lets him.

"Yeah I just... I'm pretty sure I have about 2 or 3 days before it starts so I have to do a nest and scent my room..."

"Wait you haven't started your nest yet?" Soushi looks at her concerned all the way.

"No soush you know I don't do that anymore unless I'm in one place for more than two weeks..." Clementine mutters.

Soushi sighs,"Yeah sorry..."

That also means she has to tell these people that the pup they just agreed to foster is going into heat about 2 or 3 days after they got her.

Great.

Just perfect.

"Clem?"

She looks at Soushi.

He stares at her with a questioning look.

"Do you need an alpha there?" He mutters.

He asks every time.

Every two months.

Clementine loves her friend to death.

And yes she would love to have an alpha there.

Specifically him.

But he's only asking because he is kind.

He's not asking because he wants to fuck her senseless.

"No Soush I'll be ok..." She mutters.

"Ok..." He whispers.

Clementine sighs and starts walking out of the living room. Soushi follows her quietly and when they reach the door Soushi engulfs her in another tight hug and scents her strongly.

Clementine returns the favor.

"I'll... I guess I'll see you in about a week then..." He smiles opening the door.

"Yeah..." She wants to ask him to stay.

She wants him to do the heat with her.

But she can't put him into something he only wants to do because he's her best friend.

"See ya," he waves.

"Bye..." She mutters and the door closes.
