Clementine has always been smart-mouthed. 

Rude.

Tough.

Hardheaded.

Some even called her unfriendly.

A lot said she acted nothing like an omega should.

Even though she was simply a 17 year old girl just trying to protect herself from the world.

She knows she been in foster care since she was 3.

She knew her parents left her on the side of the road by herself.

At first people would adopt her because they thought she was a beautiful little girl.

Pitch black hair, bright scarlet eyes, slim body, and incredibly smart for her age.

What they didn't account for was the horrible temper she would gain because of other kids in he care system.

So shes not the nicest.

And she definitely hates people in general.

And so.

She lays on her bed again staring at the ceiling.

Well.

Its not her bed.

Its like 3 different peoples bed.

"Clementine?"

Clementine rolls her eyes knowing its just Passie here to tell her its time to go.

"Yeah-yeah I'm coming..." She stands grabbing her bag and sings disgracefully over her shoulder. She doesn't hold back the irritated scent shes letting off either.

Passie smiles warmly at her as she approaches the door.

Clementine doesn't feel the need to return the favor.

"Well this couple is very nice... As you saw the other day they have a little boy named Dani... The mother is an omega... The father is an alpha same as their little boy... And I'm sure you'll like it there Clem..."

Passie stops at the door and looks her over withe a discerned face,"Dear-" She tries to straighten her neck tie without success cause Clementine quickly gets bored of er hands fidgeting with it.

"C'mon fuck off-" She mutters aggravated already.

"You need to look your best for this Clem... And stop putting off such an aggravated scent you'll make the twins freak out next door... These people want to take care of you..." Passie says urgently.

"They won't after a week of me..." Clementine says matter-of-factly.

Cause its true.

No family has kept her more than a week because she was too quiet.

Or too rude.

Or wasn't an obedient omega.

Or too much of something.

"Don't say that..." Passie mutters quietly.

Tch.

Even Passie knew it was true.

Clementine follows her outside onto the stone steps of the front building and Passie turns and hugs her.

Clementine doesn't return the favor and stays still giving her a nonchalant look.

Passie sighs and pulls away with a wry smile,"That's it then dear... I hope the next time we meet it isn't because of..." She cuts herself off.

Because they don't want me.

Yeah right, that's exactly when Clementine thinks she'll see passie again.

Passie gestures to a car sitting in front of the building and Clementine looks over at it expressionless.

A lady with dark brown hair stands there leaning on he passenger side door.

All Clementine can think is that she has beautiful blue eyes and an even more beautiful smile.

That must be maria.

A man with blond hair stands at the drivers side. He also has blue eyes and an incredibly goofy smile.

He must be David.

Then she sees heir little boy.

But he doesn't look that little, he looks 13 or 14.

He has dark brown hair like his mother a bright blue eyes. One beauty spot under his right eye and bangs covering his left. He's fit too, but that's normal since hes an alpha.

And Clementines guessing if the kid would smile it'd be a goofy one like his dads.

But no.

Instead he gives her a glare like he could kill.

Clementine does return that look.

Passie pats her back to tell her to go an Clementine stumps down the steps to her temporary family.

"Hi Clementine..." The man smiles,"My names David..."

"An I'm Maria dear..." The omega lets off a calming scent.

Clementine tries her best to shrug off the inviting smell.

Oh cool Maria has a Spanish accent.

Clementine gives them an uninterested look.

David pats his son,"Dani say hi to Clementine..."

Dani gives her a deadly glare,"Hi." He lets off a warning scent and Clementine scrunches up her nose.

Clementine looks back to the adults.

"God aren't you rude..." Dani spits.

"Dani-" Maria glares at her son.

"I'm only saying what we're all thinking..." Dani mutters lowly.

Clementine silently agrees with the brat.

Maria sighs shaking her head then smiles at Clementine,"Well! Shall we get going then?"

David nods and Dani climbs into then back seat looking pissed.

David smiles at her again,"Climb in the back with Dani..."

Clementine stares at the car.

God how did she let Soushi talk her into this?

Its ok.

Clementine told him she'd do one last family and if it doesn't work out she'd just finish out her last two years in the care system.

Clementine has never seen a very bright future for herself.

This is the last time she'll have to deal with disappointing a family.

Clementine reaches forward and gets in the back seat sharing a glare with Dani real quick before sitting down.

She closes the door and sighs.

Here shes goes again.
