God Dani whines loudly.

That's all Clementine can hear for 3 days straight.

He won't shut up and its slightly annoying having a room right next to the little shit.

By day 4 shes growling at her wall.

He's just on the other side it would be so easy to just slap his stupid little ass and tell him to get a girlfriend so she can take care of him.

No he's only 14.

He can't exactly have that kind of relationship yet.

She sighs and stops growling at him.

Well, her wall that separates them and keeps her from ripping his voice box out.

The loud door bell rings over head and she stands from her bed.

She bounces down the stairs like a giddy pup until she sees david and she mellows out her stupid actions.

David opens the door and there stands Soushi.

"Hey!" He smiles wide.

He has the goofiest grin and its adorable.

She loves his sharp teeth too.

"Hi..." Clementine acts like its no big deal he's here.

He hands her a box and she raises her brow at it questioning what the fuck it is.

"That's the uh... That's the box that candy was in Clem, thought I'd return it..." He blushes a little and doesn't look her in the eyes.

"Oh..." Clementine mutters.

They stand there quietly for a moment david in the doorway.

Next thing they know they hear a door slam open upstairs and out runs Dani.

"Shit-shit-shit-shit-!" He holds a hand over his mouth gagging.

He runs across the hall to the bathroom. And he slams the door loudly.

Soushi looks confused.

"You were right by the way..." Clementine see his confused expression and smirks,"Dani was in pre rut and now he's in the middle of it..."

"Oh..." Soushi scrunches his nose up,"Poor pup... The first rut is the worst because that's when you have to figure out how you like to-" he cuts himself off,"Ya'know what I'm not gonna say anymore because its extremely embarrassing..."

David snorts and Soushi chuckles.

Clementine doesn't even wanna know why or how alphas connect like that.

They all sit down and eat lunch. Which is a bunch of chocolate truffles that Soushi brought in clementines case.

And when david and maria go upstairs to check on their son who has locked himself in the bathroom Clementine is left alone in the room with soushi.

Soushi grabs the last truffle and grins at Clementine competitively.

She growls playfully and tackles him.

Soushi yelps loudly and their playful growls and snarls can be hard echoing through the house.

Clementine crawls on top of him and reaches for the truffle.

But.

Soushi is twice her size and he easily keeps it out of her reach. She whines loudly as he finally puts it to his lips.

Soushi stuffs the truffle in his mouth laughing and he swallows it.

Clementine growls and beats His chest,"You asshole!"

Soushi chuckles and shoves her off.

Clementine rolls off him easily and flops onto her back next to him.

"Clem?"

"Hm?"

"Why'd you want me stay the other day?" Soushi looks at her.

Clementine stares back at him.

She can't tell him how she thinks about him during one of her heats.

And definitely not like this.

"I was freaking out..." She lies.

"Clem... You always freak out..." Soushi mutters not meeting her eyes and staring at his feet.

Well.

That's not a lie but she could've done this without him.

Yeah it was worse this time and she was in complete panic mode but.

She still could've done it alone.

But instead she asked him to stay.

She asked him to stay for the first time in 4 years worth of heats.

That's not like her and Soushi knows it.

"It was bad this time soush... Jeez couldn't you smell me..." She mutters darkly.

"Ok, don't be a bitch Clem!" Soushi growls.

Clementine bares her teeth at him and growls right back.

Soushi whines frustrated and rolls over putting his back to her.

"Ok ok... Sorry," Clementine sits up.

"I met a beta named Emma a few months ago..." He mutters not meeting her eyes.

Clementine internally screams "FUCK!" But she keeps her cool and nods,"And?"

"I asked her out... She said yeah... So she wanted to meet you since I always talked about you and she said she could set you up with a friend of hers... We could do a double date ya'know..."

Clementine doesn't like that Soushi just said that he has a girlfriend now.

And she hates the fact that it wasn't her he asked instead of a shitty scentless beta.

But.

She isn't gonna hate him.

"Yeah... Ok..."

As long as she can see Soushi smile like that shes fine.
