Do inanimate objects ever make you angry? Can a plant be considered inanimate? It is living and breathing, so I say no. Besides, plants provide us with CO2.
Anyway, they really didn't do anything to bother me, but that ottoman really gets under my skin.

Plants are living beings, they are not inanimate since they grow, die, "eat" and reproduce, but I don't talk to them.
