Jun was often joined on the porch by his younger brother Keita - his brother being a little more outgoing than he and also had a small group of his own. “A few of my friends are coming over tonight. You’re welcome to tag along if you want. One of my buds from a neighbouring town is returning,” Keita offered as he sat beside his brother, carving a totem. Avoiding eye contact, Jun replies as he always does. “Thank you but I think I’ll sit this one out. I have a few plans for tonight. Maybe next time.” “You’re always saying that,” his brother responds, just as disappointed as the countless other times he’s heard that before. Keita had offered his brother a place in his group many times but Jun had never bothered. Jun was rarely asked by others to join in on their fun however he figured he’d rather spectate instead.
This page was created to support an ongoing series I've birthed.
I've changed the concept for this story so many times but I think I've finally settled on something I think is unique and has potential.
Beginning with the story of a boy, Jun. It follows the path he takes after having his village destroyed by gods, and having one of them use him as a vessel. He must venture now to find hidden celestial beings so he can recover them from an entrapment and fix what went wrong.
I will attempt to update the story every week. I don't feel the paragraphs I come up with are big enough to call chapters, so I'll call them slips. As of right now I've written 30 slips, however I'll just be putting one every week to supporters. Otherwise, free pieces (though smaller) of this story can be found around being uploaded every day.
I was always going back and switching small things so expect that, though I think I've improved on that. I'm not good at pitches but trust, I think is a market that hasn't been tapped into. Also forgot to make a cover image so for now I'll use a placeholder image while I get a proper one produced.
