Debiddo and Poketo, full of energy, runs toward the group led by Raphael. They stop to see the group getting ambushed by a slew of demons of every shape and size. “Look out!” A random contestant screams to Debiddo. A snake-demon slithers past a few contestants and tries to strike Debiddo, however with his Genki active, he is able to counter with a punch to the snake demon's face. “Wow, there are a lot of demons around,” Debiddo says to Poketo as he is fighting demons coming at him. “Yeah,” Poketo responds. “It’s way worse than it was the last year. “It looks like they have a lot of demons around here,” Debiddo says as he kicks through a large pig demon. “I thought it was a chaser job to purify these demons and send them to Rakuen?” Debiddo then jumps over another demon who lunges at him and starts running forward with Poketo right beside him. “These are demons that are of animals,” Poketo says jumping over a demon as well. "Their soul doesn’t really go anywhere if an animal soul gets corrupted, it goes here until someone destroys it, then it gets recycled into another animal. That is the fate of animal souls." “Well dang”, Debiddo says finishing off another pig demon. All of a sudden, the ground starts to shake strongly making everyone start falling over. Debiddo and Poketo turn around and see a large hairy ape-like demon towering over everyone with a murderous aura. 

“Wait...” Poketo says horrified. “This demon!” “What?” Debiddo says taken aback because of the menacing look of the Ape Demon. “This demon is not supposed to be here.” Poketo says backing away slowly “What you mean?” Debiddo says looking at Poketo now with confusion. “That demon...He is...He is a higher rank! He is an A-ranked demon!” Poketo says as he runs away with the group “Wait!” Debiddo says as he follows Poketo in running away. “Why is that a big deal, I thought we are supposed to take out demons like this?” “We are,” Poketo says “However, not right now. The tunnel is meant to train us in fighting as a team and survive through the tunnel successfully while defeating low ranked demons. The highest demons we should be seeing in here should be B ranked demons!” “Well, I guess that means we got to take it out right now then!” Debiddo says as he turns around to face the large demon. The demon’s demonic roar was strong enough to make Debiddo start to sweat profusely and immediately run away saying, “Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope!” “What happened to you taking out the demon?” Poketo says following Debiddo “I know when I am outmatched! That bastard is too strong!” “So, what are we going to do?” Poketo asks. “I don’t know about you, but I'm getting as far as possible from that demon!” Debiddo and Poketo run as fast as they possibly can to avoid getting grabbed by that demon. Behind them, the demon was throwing away everyone and started running towards Debiddo. “Oh my gosh, that demon is coming for you!” Poketo says running further away from Debiddo. “Why me?” says Debiddo as he runs even fast to avoid getting caught by the demon. Debiddo then says to himself “I got to do something about this demon. If not, I'm going to end up dying early!” 

Debiddo then looks around and sees a small hole where he can hide for the time being. He slides in the hole making sure he didn't make a sound. As the Demon walks by, Debiddo then shoots a small beam of light towards the opposite side of the tunnel distracting the demon as the demon turns around, Debiddo then focused his light energy in his feet and shot himself on the demon back. Debiddo, being small compared to the demon, climbed all the way to the back of the demon’s head “Oof, this demon smells terrible!” Debiddo says “I think I got only one shot at this.” Debiddo focused a large amount of his light energy to his fist. This caused the entire area to be illuminated by the bright light. Everyone from the group including some of the demons looked up to see the bright light on the giant demon’s back. “Ok demon!” Debiddo says cocking back his fist “This is a move I call, Demonic mind crush! Debiddo punches the back of the demon's head causing light energy to travel through its brain and out his right eye. With a final dying roar, the Giant demon falls to his knees and then to the ground. The impact of the demon falling caused the entire area to shake because of the impact. "I don't really like that name," Debiddo says to himself. "Maybe Death ray? no no, that ain't right. Ummm, maybe Dynamic Light Strike..noo that's too anime. Aha, I got it, Shining Fist! I love it, simple and to the point."

 Everyone in the area starts cheering as Debiddo crawls down off of the now-deceased demon’s back. Debiddo then walks to Poketo saying sarcastically, “Oh nooo, I didn’t need your help back there, I could have been totally fine if my plan didn’t work. “Hey, I'm sorry man, but I can’t afford to get killed if the demon wasn’t attacking me,” Poketo says rubbing the back of his head in guilt. “And besides, I knew you would come up with a plan anyways” “Mmhm,” Debiddo says as he stares down Poketo, who looks away from Debiddo in guilt. “HaHaHaHa!” Raphael says as he pats Debiddo’s back “You did great young man! You really are a member of the Hikari clan!” “You could have helped too,” Debiddo says to Raphael as he looks away too. All of a sudden, a large voice then echoes throughout the tunnel saying “Bolt Raijin is the first one to make it through the tunnel. 19 hours, 43 minutes, and 22 seconds!” everyone is in awe all over the tunnel as they find out this information. “Dang, just how fast is this guy? Debiddo says in astonishment. Poketo then tugs at Debiddo’s shirt saying “Come on man, we got to go, we’ve wasted too much time!” “Says the guy who just stood there while I was fighting 14-foot Monkey Demon!” Debiddo retorts. “Whatever man, let's go!” Poketo says as he starts running. Raphael, Debiddo, Poketo, and everyone else in the group runs for a couple of hours straight before the Dj’s voice echoes in the tunnel again. “Himawari Fujin is the second person to finish the tunnel. 26 hours, 27 minutes, and 16 seconds!” “Wow Hima, it looks like you made it out there,” Debiddo says to himself. “But don’t think you’ve won yet! I’ll make it out of this tunnel and make the next stage with you!” Debiddo proceeded running with the group for another 5 hours, with each hour bringing more and more fatigue.

 As the group continues running, Dj declares more and more contestants out of the tunnel. “Izumi Kawafuki clears the tunnel 34 hours, 13 minutes, and 6 seconds, Jesson Tori has cleared the tunnel 38 hours, 1 minute, and 14 seconds!” The amount of people increases as Debiddo starts to get more and more nervous. “We got to find a way to speed this up!” Debiddo exclaimed. All of a sudden, the ground below the group starts to freeze over, shocking everyone around. “Ohohohoho, you guys ignored me for too long! To have little old me work so hard should be a punishable offense!” Kori says arrogantly “Now you all just continue running as skate my way to victory!” Kori then made ice skates under her feet and started skating away from the group. Everyone in the group starts to boo and insult Kori as she skates away. “We need to think,” Debiddo says “What can we do to get there quicker?” Debiddo then looks at Kori’s ice skates and posed an idea. “Hey, you over there,” Debiddo says pointing to the man who Kori interrupted yesterday. 

“We never caught your name?” “Oh, my name is Gus waker.” The man says in a nasal voice. “Ok, and whats your Genki ability?” Debiddo asks. “Oh, its earth and water,” Gus says in a low tone. “Bah, another one!?” Raphael exclaimed, “Shut it!” Debiddo says to Raphael. “So actually, you can make mud with your Genki...correct?” “Debiddo what does this got to do with anyth...” Poketo asked, “Shut up dammit I got a plan.” Debiddo says. “Alright I need to make your mud the shape of a large boat, and Raphael I need you to harden the mud with your fire.” “Why do we need to do this?” Gus says to Debiddo. “Cause we are going to ride this rock-boat all the way to the end,” Debiddo says with much confidence. “Are you mad?” Raphael says to Debiddo. “Well, just a little.” Debiddo retorts “But I will rather be crazy and take this chance than not try it out and we all ended up failing. So, come on guys I need your help with this.” Debiddo then says to himself, “In any other scenario I would just say screw these guys and go in it alone with my light Genki, but I don’t know if I have enough control to even make it that far and fight off demons too. I need to preserve my strength and make it so that I can pass this first test!” Debiddo and the rest of the group preceded on making the boat via Debiddo directions. Debiddo made it that the mud had an air bubble inside by using Poketo steam ability, then he had Raphael use his fire to bake the mud into a rock-like boat. And used Erik's strength Genki to pick the boat up and place it on the ice. Everyone then got inside of the boat. “Ok everyone, are you guys ready?” Debiddo asks “Are you sure this is going to work?” Poketo asks Debiddo “I have no clue,” Debiddo says to Poketo “But we have no choice now.” “3 hours left in the first exams!” The announcer says as his voice echoes through the tower.
