Thoughts race into my vulnerable mind like a stampede of horses. The moon has risen and clouds have formed, heavy with water and ready to pummel the earth.
The violence is so peaceful. I listen to the drops of rain outside my window, providing life to things around me.
I sort through my thoughts, tossing away what isn't true. This put my mind at ease. Sometimes I let it get the best of me but I can feel myself growing stronger.
Thinking about it now, the rain is much needed, no matter how much damage it may do when the time comes. Too much may drown and too little may parch.
I suppose the same could be said about thinking.
The more I grow and learn, the more I'll get to know the beautiful garden that the rain in my mind has come to create.
For there is certainly always a light behind the clouds.
