This is quite possibly the most popular PHD Comic I ever made, or at least, it's the one people seem to forward around the most, and it's not even a comic per se! I think it's popular because it gets to the heart of how different our expectation for grad school work is versus what it is in reality, which we are often embarrassed to admit. You think when you start that it's going to be a steady amount of work, but really it's a mess of panic attacks and procrastination.
This was also one of the first graph comics I made, and I would ego-centrically argue, maybe one of the first at all? The "Must see TV" reference really dates it.
