When I awoke I was in a damp area that looked like the hollow of tree. It was dark and the air was filled with moisture. I started coughing and I felt the pain return to beat on my body. My body ached and my chest burned like fire. I tried to look down but my neak was stiff as boards. My lungs squeezed tight as I tried to breathe and my throat felt like the Sahara. What happened to me and where am I? I went into another coughing fit and someone rushed up to me. They started shouting in another language. Suddenly there were like 10 more people surrounding me. I tried to say something but nothing came out. When the original person saw me struggling to speak, she handed me a cup with a golden liquid in it. As she tried to communicate with me all I understood was drink nectar and make better. I didn't know what to make of this. It was all so strange. I wanted nothing more then to just just turn away and cry. To cry about what I had just seen, gone through. To cry for being stuck in this weird magical place. To cry for my mom and dad. How I longed to be back home. Who knew who long I've been here, if fey time is different then human. I was too wrapped up in myself that I hadn't realize the beautiful Fayre that had come to my bed side. She had a crown made of baby's breath and wild flowers in her golden hair. Her dress was an opal white knee length dress with a floral lace design in a pale pink. Her skin tone was so fair it was as if it had never been kissed by the sun. She had the most dazzling hazel gold eyes. When she smiled my heart skip a beat. She couldn't b e much older then 13 but held herself like she was an adult.

"So you're Aric, Kalen has told me about you. How are you feeling?" She smiled

" How can I understand you? I can't understand anyone else? But you you're different. I don't get it. Why can I understand you?" I was starting to cry.

" It's because I am a princess. My name is illathe and it is my job to be able to communicate with anyone who happens to enter my kingdom. Also I'm good friends with your parents. But like Kalen, I'm also worried as to why you are here. Your parents would never have brought you here knowing the dangers that are here at the present. But now that you are, welcome. I will make sure you are safe and taken care of adaquitly." The princess bowed.

"Um, my lady? If that's what you want me to call you. Why is everyone scared that I'm here? Everyone is taken this as a worst case scenario. I don't like how you guys keep acting around me. Can someone please tell me what is going on?" I was starting to get mad.

" Aric please calm down. I will tell you everything you need to know about this word. I'm just curious about what you last remember about your world. If you can tell me that I might be able to piece together what might have happened before you got brought here." The princess put her dainty hand onto my shoulder and I felt a wave of calmness wash over me. Like everything that was going wrong no longer mattered. I took a deep breath and sighed I looked to the princess.

"Princess, what did you do to me? Why do i feel so calm?" My voice shaky unsure of my own words.

"Aric, I used a power I posses that calms both the mind and body. I usually only use it on those who have little time left so they may pass peacefully. I also use it on those i see fit. Seeing as you need to be calm in or to remember your past," She smiled and I took a deep breath. I closed my eyes. "Now tell me what you remember. Starting with the day you came here."

"The last thing I remember is my mom tucking me in for bed. Then there was a crash from downstairs and I heard my dad yell something. It sounded like 'Atopáronnos. Wait when I was younger, I remember my mom telling me that if I'm ever lost to tell the first person i see "amapola" whatever that means. Princess does that mean anything to you?" I looked at her and her eyes had lost their gleam. Her already pale face paled. A gasp washed over the creatures in the room like the word itself was blasphemes.

"Is that what she said. Amapola? Are you sure. Could you be mistaken Aric? That word is to only be said in dire circumstances." The princess's voice was shaky and full of concern

"Yes ma'am. I'm certain. If its not too much, what does that word mean? I mean why is everyone reacting like this?" I was starting to get scared again myself. I felt my heart speed and my hands felt clammy. Not only was i scared but now i was starting to get nervous as well. The tension in the room seemed to thicken after I said hat word.

"Aric, its not about what the word means but what the word signifies. The word it self means poppyseed, innocent enough but its because of the double effects that we use it as a code word for danger. Not only danger but to inform the different realms of the danger in which is happening."
