Chapter 2 “Water Bind”

“We are gonna start with a simple water cut” Fabien aimed his palm, staring intensely towards a rock. “Bind” his hand was glowing like the ocean. In an instant water cut through the rock like a knife cutting paper. “Now you might be wondering, how I cut it without saying the spell. Well I-” He was quickly interrupted by “you contrasted the magic through your mind. So that when you predict it thoroughly it does it”.

Lauralenne laughed, watching him fail. “Get over it Fabien, i'm a much better teacher than you” Lauralenne just giggled, lying down gracefully on the soft grass. “Well if it wasn't your ignorance letting Ryder rummage through my ancient books we wouldn't be here” Fabien just turned around, he smiled as if he won a trophy. “Yeah okay so who does the “ancient books” belong to that my son was reading! Yup ding yours” Lauralenne screams. Fabien and Ryder were scared to death.

“Well why don't you show your mother what you've learnt” Fabien whispers. Ryder closes his eyes, and through his mind calculates the water movements. “If i hit it with just a water cut dad wont think im good enough, i have to prove myself.” Ryder thinks of a another stronger solution. In his mind, everything relys on him. “I can use a water bind! A good way to wipe out that rock”

Water bind, water bind is a strong spell that conquers the water spirits and uses it against the enemy. If bind can cast any spell, and water cut can cast water knives. Putting them together would mean that water from the spirits, and the blade collide. That means the water will be knives shaped into the form of waves.

Ryder then screams “Water Bind!”. A huge swarm of water takes over and wipes out the whole forest. “Get down!” The water was endless, and wouldn't stop. “Lauralenne!” Lauralenne jumped off the floor, right in front of Ryder. “Got it!” Fabien ran to the side , attempting to stop the water before it hit the nearby village.

“Ryder what the hell was that!” Lauralenne yelled, dragging his ear up and down. “Sorry okay I tried calculating it, I just lost control alright!” Lauralenne rolled her eyes, and looked him straight in the eyes. “I dont care about that stupid spell! You showed me up!”

Ryder was really confused, she was pissed for another reason. “I'll show you a stronger spell so i'll teach your idiot father i'm a much better teacher” Lauralenne was obviously jealous, a very non expected reaction for a kid who took out half a forest.

“Father where were you?” Ryder noticed his father was angry, and looked down to the floor. “That was really reckless, and you shouldn't use the Water binding spell if you can't control it” Ryder felt very guilty. Lauralenne laughed, and rolled her eyes again. “Hunny you can't scold him, you burnt down a whole village” They all laughed, and he learnt the basics and more.
