"Sorry what?" I replied shaking my head, my mind was swirling of thoughts.

"Miss, you have a meeting with the Governor at 2 o'clock today later on-"

"Cancel all my meetings for today."

"WHAT?? You can't this meeting is very important today!"

"I Said! Cancel all meetings today, sort something out you're my bloody PA!" I 

*PA stands for personal assistant* I saw the shock in her face. "Sorry, you haven't been around much, just not today. Get out please..." 

Fuck, shit! I stared at the picture of my mother on my table and tears started to trickle down my face.

"It's been seven years and I still can't forget you...I'm 22 now I'm successful I would love for you to still be around and see this day. I guess I can take a break today and visit you right?" I stood up and walked out of my office.

"Good morning, miss."

"Lauren sorry for shouting at you earlier, take a break today..." She bowed and I walked off.
