Do you ever go to the mall and end up buying more than you originally set out to? That is what this shopping comic captures. Something else always catches your eye, it could be shinny or could fancy or really expensive. Then you have your boyfriend holding you back on splurging and having fun. Often the girlfriend drags the boyfriend to go shopping. The mutt comes along on purpose to keep the situation from going too far like BUYING EVERYTHING in the mall. Shopping is a severe addiction. It starts with just innocently window shopping then 1 bag of socks then another bag of a t-shirt then 5, 6 and even 10 bags of clothes.
We all assume we will just walk in and browse, “we are just looking”, we all say and never does it end up that way. The purchases always “escalate quickly”.
When shopping with your boyfriend it is good to buy something for him. He is being dragged around in these girly stores, it is the least you can do for him. It would make shopping more fun for both of you. He gets a gift and you get a happy boyfriend. Imagine yourself in the boyfriend’s shoes being dragged around to store you would want a gift too. This shopping comic could have gone in many different directions (maybe even the wrong way in the escalator).
