"Why am I so nervous?" Parker thought while he was stirring his tea. "I'm only going to the sea aquarium with him. It's not like we're going on a date."
Benjamin put his mug against his lips while he eyed Parker who stared frustrated at his mug. "Today's Jumin's birthday, right?"
Parker snapped out of thought and looked at Benjamin. "Uh, yes!"
"Where are you going together?" He asked, putting his mug back on the table.
"To the sea aquarium!" Parker replied excitedly but faltered at the thought of them going together. "But I don't know if he'll like it or not. Maybe he thinks that it's too childish." Parker sighed dejectedly. "It's difficult to go somewhere Jumin likes since he doesn't really like anything. For Min and Kyung it's easy, but I want to do something that he likes."
"I think you being together with him would be enough," Benjamin commented. "Just a gut feeling."
Parker raised his eyebrow and glanced at his phone. He saw that it was already 10 AM and he stood up from his chair. "Well, it's already time to go. I'll see you later, dad."
"Bye. And don't forget to call me if your plans change."
"Will do!" He shouted and closed the front door. He put his earbuds in while he walked to Jumin's house. He was halfway through the fourth song when he stood in front of Jumin's house. He gulped nervously and rang the doorbell. After a few minutes, he didn't get any reaction. He decided to ring it again. startled when he saw the door open in one swift move.
On the other side, Jumin glared up to the person who woke him up. His face softened when saw that it was Parker.
"Happy birthday, Jumin," Parker smiled as he wrapped his arms around him.
Jumin, who was still half asleep, didn't even bother to push him away. Instead, Jumin did the same and leaned his head onto Parker. "Thank you, Park."
They broke the hug and averted their eyes from each other.
"So, uh," Parker began as he closed the door. "Do you have anything planned? If not, would you like to spend the day with me?"
"Sure," Jumin replied. "June has to work till afternoon today and Miracle said that she has to finish writing something for her book. So, I had no one else beside you to spend the day with."
"Nice save, Miracle!" Parker thought.
Meanwhile, Miracle typed furiously on her laptop, hoping that she could finish the chapter before June got off from work.
"Have you eaten already?" Parker asked as he took off his shoes.
"You just woke me up, Park," Jumin deadpanned.
Parker showed him a cheeky grin. "Sorry, not sorry." He put his coat on the coat rack. "But I can prepare some food if you like," he offered while he walked to the kitchen.
"Some cereal is good enough," Jumin said. "I'll put on some clothes in my room. You can grab something to eat if you like to."
"Okay," Parker smiled.
Jumin took one last glance at Parker and went upstairs to his room. He grabbed his phone and dialed Miracle. After a few rings, Miracle answered it.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY BITCH!" Miracle yelled.
Jumin took his phone away from his ear and put it back when she finished screaming. "It's too early for your shit, but thanks," Jumin replied.
"But what's up? I need to finish this chapter real quick." Jumin heard something fall on the other side. "SHIT! FUCK MY LIFE!"
Jumin ignored her and tossed some clothes on his bed. He put himself on mute and went to brush his teeth while he heard Miracle cleaning her things up.
"Jumin? You still there?" Miracle asked. Jumin didn't respond and stared with a daze at himself in the mirror. A minute passed by and he squeezed his eyes shut as he rubbed his temples. "JUMIN! HEY JUMIN! UNMUTE ME!"
Kyung stared at himself in the mirror. He turned to his phone and pressed unmute. "What the fuck do you want?"
"Hey, what's up Kyung?" Miracle asked.
"Doing good. You?"
"I'm fine until YOU showed up."
"What did you say, bitch?" Kyung demanded.
"Hey, do you already know about what will happen later?" She asked. Kyung didn't answer. "I'll take that as a no. June and I are planning a small surprise party for Jumin. Don't tell him anything!"
"Um, okay? But why the fuck am I dressed? Normally, we'd still be asleep at this hour." He scratched his head. "Is he planning on going somewhere?"
"Yeah," Miracle answered. "Parker's waiting downstairs on your ass."
Kyung's eyes widened. "Wait, really?!" He grabbed his phone. "I'll call you back later."
"Wait Kyu-"
Kyung hung up, grabbed his wallet and keys, and ran downstairs. He whipped his head to the kitchen and saw Parker eating cereal with another bowl beside him while he watched a stream on his phone. Kyung cleared his throat and Parker turned to Kyung with his mouth full with cereal.
Parker tried to grin, but almost let cereal fall out of his mouth. He chewed it quickly and swallowed it. "Yo," he grinned. "How are you, Kyung?"
"Doing good, man." He glanced at the other bowl of cereal. "Is that for me?"
"Yeah," Parker replied, pushing the chair across of him towards Jumin. "Jumin told me that it'd be enough. I wanted to try and make breakfast for him, but I'm not that confident with my cooking skills like him or Miracle," he grinned sheepishly.
Kyung sat on the chair and slid back to the table. Parker turned his phone off and pushed the other bowl towards Kyung. "Thanks, Park. What did you plan for today?"
"Well, I thought that it'd be a good idea to go to the sea aquarium, but I don't know if you guys would like it or not. Or we can go to the cinema or do something else if you like," Parker suggested. "Because I didn't have a clue about where to go and asked a friend of mine. She said that she'd be happy if she goes to Burger King. But I know that it's a stupid idea, so I did some thinking and ended with the sea aquarium. What do you think?"
"I'm fine with the sea aquarium," Kyung replied after listening for a while. "But why Burger King out of all the other fast-food restaurants?"
"She's too easy to please," Parker sighed. "She reminds me of myself a little. Just bring me food and I'll love you forever."
"Good to know," Kyung muttered. "When are we going?"
"After we're done eating of course!" Parker grinned. "The last one to finish has to do what the other says!"
"Oh, you're on!"
