i was just thinking: what if our lives are not even real, and the real us doesn’t have a life, we’re just constantly dreaming, and when we die, we wake up in our real lives, but are put back to sleep, only to start a completely new life without memories of any past lives. it’s just a cycle of lies really, where nothing you experience is real, except for your own consciousness.
also.... don't take this too seriously, it's just a thought.
p.s. i'm still working on YF hopefully i can get out atlas a page this week. it's probably not going to look a lot like the others whoopsies
"Reality" exists solely inside your head. Your senses don't describe the world around you objectively, but an interpretation of what you experience.
What is "reality" like for a person who was born blind? To one who was born deaf? Colorblind? What is color? What is sound? What is reality like for a hypothetical being that can perceive ionizing radiation, but cannot perceive the visible spectrum? Why do optical illusions happen in your head even though you *know* they are not real? What else is an optical illusion and we just don't know it?
Maybe you're right. We're all imprisoned in our brains. We're all dreaming wide awake.
"also.... don't take this too seriously, it's just a thought."
