My alarm went off the next morning waking me up, I rolled over and turned it off. After movie night with the pack and talking to Lil, I didn’t get to bed till 1:30, and here I am waking up at 6:30. I got out of bed, grabbed my shower supplies, and went to the showroom. I usually shower at night, but I was way to tired. After my shower, I was walking back to my room and out of the corner of my eye I saw Lil already on the elevator. I freaked thinking I was going to be late, when I got to my room I checked the time, it was only 7 but why was she leaving so early. Oh well, I went on and got dressed in uniform. For classes we could choose to wear a blazer or a vest as well, I decided on the blazer today.

After I got my schoolbag set, I grabbed my room keys and headed toward the door. When I opened the door Bex was standing there with her hand up about to knock, she realized I had opened the door, she smiled at me and dropped her hand.

“Morning! Are you ready to head over to class? Have you eaten yet?” She asked eagerly.

“Umm… good morning, yeah I’m ready and I have a breakfast bar for the walk over. Should we start heading?” She nodded in response, I locked my door and followed her to the elevator.

On our walk to our first class, Bex could not shut up, not that I minded. I got to eat in peace. Which is usually a rare sight for me, it also got me out of speaking about the pack or Lil, I really wanted to wait to talk about that with the rest of the pack. We were almost there someone ran up behind us and put their arms around our shoulders.

“Why good morning to my pack mates!” Zander exclaimed.

“Oh its you Zander! Good morning! Are you ready for today? I am so excited for today, its our first fighting class!” Bex responded.

“Yeah I am! By the way, have either of you seen Lillith today? I was hoping I could walk with her to class, but she didn’t answer her door or her phone.” Zander dropped his arms and rested them on the strap of his bag.

“I saw her get on the elevator this morning at about 7, maybe she was going for breakfast early or something.” I shrugged.

“Awww, well that sounds like her.” He smiled but seamed somewhat disappointed at the same time.

With that the three of us arrived at our first class, we entered and right away I spotted Lil, she was standing in the far corner with Libryinth. They seamed to be arguing, I was about to walk over there to check on her when she spotted me. She looked over at Libryinth for a second and said one last thing before coming over to me.

“You two okay?” I asked, I feel like there is something going on between them, but I can’t put my finger on it.

“Oh, between me and that lowlife? Nah, lets head over to the pack, they are all over there.” She said as she walked off to join the pack.

I followed behind her, we both greeted our pack. I finally got a good look at the building I was in. There were no chairs or desks, there were two doors on the far side that said locker rooms over them. The walls were a light grey, and the ceiling was very high, black, and had tons of beams and support bars crossing it. The floor was a dark grey, it had all these small holes covering it.

It was about 10 minutes before 8 when Professor Jayen walked in, he turned to face us and said “Why are you all standing around here for? Go to the locker room and get changed, you’re fighting class uniforms are in there, be back out here in 10 minutes.” With that everyone went off and got changed. It seamed as if every student in our year was here. The fighting uniform was fairly simple, just a pair of grey shorts and a white t-shirt. Lucky I wore my combat boots again.

When I walked out, the girls were already out their, they had a pair of grey tight shorts on, that I could see some butt out of the bottom, and a fitted white t-shirt. Bex was wearing her usual bright socks and black tennis shoes, Winnie was wearing black socks and black tennis shoes. When I saw Lil I couldn’t believe my eyes, she was wearing her usual thigh high socks and combat boots. I swear she is gonna die from heat exhaustion in that get up. I got over to my pack just as Professor Jayen walked back in.

“So today, we are going to be testing what you can do and if you live up to your most recent fighting stats from pre-training school. To do this we will be doing one on one battles.” Everyone in the crowd cheered. “Each pair has been pre-selected due to your most recent stats and who would be a hard match for both sides. In the battles you are allowed to use any weapon summoning, healing spell, and transform level. We do ask for you to show what weapons you can summon before you begin. Today to help with these battles we have two students joining us, I will introduce them to you now. They are Ash Wolfben a ash-dragon-transform and Jadyn Ironlore a iron-dragon-transform. They are both amazing fighters, and very skilled healers, so if anyone gets hurt they will take care of them. As long as you don’t permanently hurt you opponent you will pass. All you have to do is force your opponent to accept defeat. If you knock them out or they are unable to continue, that is an automatic win. Does everyone understand?”

Everyone nodded in reply. I was getting a little worried, what if I get someone I can’t outmaneuver? I could get seriously hurt. Hopefully these older students are really good at healing. That’s all I can hope for right now.

The Professor pulled out a small tablet, he scrolled down and read something before speaking to us again, “We will start with those with the lowest fighting stats, remember these do not take in mind your testing stats. As you are waiting step outside and warm up a little, you will not be watching any matches until you finish yours. Lets begin!”

We all went outside, our pack started warming up, Arbid was called in about 20 minutes later. About 40 minutes later Winnie was called in, 20 minutes late Bex was called, and 5 minutes after that Braden was called. I was called in next.

My opponent was a boy, shorter than me, once I got onto the floor they asked us to show our summonings. I only have two and they’re pretty weak, but I showed them none the less. I showed small daggers I can pull from the side of my hips and a bow staff I can grab from the ground. My opponent had a net he could pull out from his forearm and small daggers from his thighs. Our fight didn’t last long, I was able to knock him down with my bow staff and pin him. He gave up almost immediately. After I sat down with my group. We were getting to the last couple matches when Zander came in, his fight lasted about 10 minutes, longer then all of ours. He won his match and came over to sit will us.

We kept watching the matches at we sat on the floor. We all started to worry if they had skipped Lil’s match, or if she didn’t have a partner. We got even more worried when we got to the last match, Libryinth came in first, he looked really fired up. And walking in right behind him was… Lillith!

They both walked out to the floor, when they got to the starting positions Libryinth turned around to face Lil. Professor Jayen then asked the two of them to show their summons and then get into the transform they wanted to start in, starting with Libryinth. Libryinth showed a large sword from his waist, a bow staff from the ground, throwing knifes from his wrists, and one whip from his left arm. He then transformed into quarter- and second-form before going back to quarter-form.

Professor Jayen then turned to Lil and nodded showing that he was ready to see her summonings and transforms. She nodded in return before looking over at Libryinth and smirking. She then started her summonings. She summoned kunai from her wrists, a katana from her left hip, double katanas from her shoulders, a large decorate sword from the ground infront of her, a bow staff from the ground as well, double whips from her right and left arms, a bow-and-arrow from her right shoulder blade, and chains from both sides of her hips.

After her summonings she looked over at Professor Jayen and said “Hey Professor, I know there are more listed, but I highly doubt that I’ll need more then what I’ve already shown you.” With that she went into quarter-form. Her transform was beautiful, there isn’t any other word to describe it. Shimmering bands seamed to swirl and wrap around her arms and legs. They light glistening off them showed every color out there. The bands then continued they came up the sides of her neck and into the contours of her face.

When Lil transformed everyone became speechless, most peoples mouths were wide open, no one had seen a quarter-form like that. Professor Jayen broke the silence;

“Well now that you have throughly shocked us all Miss. Lillith, lets proceed with the battle. Are you ready?” Both nodded in reply, “Alright, may the final battle between Libryinth and Lillith, begin!”

Libryinth and Lillith both took a fighting stance, but in the blink of an eye Libryinth had pulled out his sword and charged toward Lil. Once he was close, Lil summoned her whip and latched it onto a low supporting beam and pulled herself out of the way. While she was still in the air she threw out one of her chains and latched it onto a different supporting beam, releasing her whip in the process. She ended up hanging by her hip about 20 feet up in the air. Libryinth turned around and saw her, at that he transformed into second-form. He gained wolf ears on top of his head, and claws on his hands. He ran and jumped into the air and release his whip to bring him up to Lil, he slashed at her leg ripping threw her calf muscle. At that she summon a kunai and cut threw his right bicep as she broke the chain holding her up. Since she had ahold of him she used him as her landing. Once they landed she pushed off of him, she flipped threw the air and landed skidding to a stop. As Libryinth started getting up. Lillith used what looked like a water healing spell to heal her shredded calf.

When Libryinth got up he sneered at Lil before yelling “FUCK YOU! WHY WON’T YOU FIGHT ME SERIOUSLY! I KNOW YOU CAN TAKE ME DOWN ALREADY! JUST DO IT ALREADY YOU BITCH! THEN HEAL ME LIL!”

She looked over at him a little disappointed at first, then calmly replied “If thats what you want Lib, then that’s what I will do. I was just trying to let you get some hits in before I took you down. Oh well.” She shrugged.

With that she pulled out a kunai, and bent down as if she was about to run a marathon. Libryinth called out to her when she bent down, “JUST DO IT! COME ON!”

In the blink of an eye she had him pinned to the floor with the kunai at his throat. He called out that she had won and he had been defeated. She then gently got off him put unsummoned her kunai, and used that same water healing spell thing starting on his bicep. The water covered his whole body healing him, when he was completely healed the water returned to her hand, he was left completely dry.

When Lil stood up Ash and Jadyn rushed over to make sure both of them were properly healed. But everyone in the crowd sat there in complete silence and shock, no one believe their eyes. This time Lil was the one who broke the silence.

“Next time Libryinth, I won’t hold back, get strong enough so you can lay a finger on me. Or you won’t be so lucky.” She spoke in a low tone, low enough that only a few people heard it.

“Well alright, now that we have gone threw all the matches, most of you have improved since your last stats update. Good. That means you have all practiced. If I call your name your stats have dropped and you will have extra training classes put into your schedule until you surpass where you were at back at pre-training school. Everyone go change, after you are finished changing you are dismissed. And may go to your next class.” Professor Jayen was watching Lil really closely. After he finished calling out the names, we all started heading to the lockers, “Oh uh, Lillith. May I have a word with you?” She walked over to him, telling us not to wait.

When I got into the locker room everyone was talking about their fight, and how much more advanced the PVT students were. And it was true I found out every non graduate from PVT had 1-3 summonings, but almost every PVT graduated had at least 4. We didn’t even see all of Libryinths or Lilliths. The PVT students where on average faster and stronger. They could also go to second-form, the average pre-training school only teaches quarter-form. There were a lot of boys who were surprised by Lillith the most. Her transform was amazing, and it was only a quarter-form, her weapons arsenal was ridiculous, and she could heal large wounds and dull body wounds. And the healing spell she used wasn’t like either of the spells the two older students used. In short everyone thought she was amazing.
