Jen was a bartender at a trendy hipster bar and cafe before tragedy struck: her boss called the wrong pretentious young photojournalist a butthead, and in the ensuing s***storm the bar got shut down after internet trolls called in mass false complaints about the bar olives having urine on them, putting poor Jen out of a job. Luckily (or unluckily), for her, her Great Aunt Mildred was moving into a retirement home, and gave Jen the deed to her sprawling Victorian mansion in rural England, which turned out to be haunted by a vindictive spirit the Cooper family had bound to their service in like, 1400 or something.
