I decided to just sit around and just wait for them to find me instead. As I stood around and waited I saw someone I never thought I would see again.

My First Crush Benjamin was standing right in front of me.

"OH, MY GHAD," Benjamin said, "Lee is that you?"

I could feel my heart racing and a million feelings I had bottled up come exploding back to the surface.

"ye-yeah it's me," I said trying not to be too awkward

Benjamin came closer and sat right next to me.

"Wow like you haven't changed at all. You're still so pretty"

"You think I'm pretty?" I asked

"Of course I do" Benjamin replied

"Thank you," I said slowly turning red

"Did you come alone?"

"No, I came with two of my best friends"

"Are you having fun?" Benjamin asked

"Not too much. I'm not really the party type" I said

"That's cool. I'm not the party type too" Benjamin said

"Did you come by yourself?" I asked trying to keep the conversation going

"I came with the pack," Benjamin said 

"No way" I laughed" don't tell me you're still into that wolf pack thing" 

"I am," Benjamin said, " And guess whose the Alpha?"

I started to laugh a little bit more and each time I found myself getting more and more comfortable around Benjamin. As we continued to talk I saw Jericho constantly looking my way. It felt uncomfortable but I was too busy focusing on Benjamin to even react to it. Benjamin and I attended the same church. we never spoke much but our parents were really close and that's how we got to know each other a little bit more. Benjamin was a nice guy and one of the sweetest guys I had ever meet.

"Hey, Lee?"

"Yeah"

"Can I ask you something"

"sure, anything" I replied

"Can I kiss you?"
