 Present Day (3 years later)

BEEP...BEEP...BEEP!!!! Mira’s eyes open as she wakes up from her sleep. She sits up and stretches her arms to wake herself up. She glances at the clock. She reads, ‘6:40 AM’.

“Looks like I have enough time to do my morning checkup and get a drink before I head to school.”, she mumbled to herself.

She does some morning stretches before getting ready for school and heading out the front door, warm sunshine hitting her face.

Minutes pass and Mira begins to do her usual checkup; observing the people who pass by, taking mental notes of any activity. But as usual, the Advisors continued to give suggestions to their humans. With that done, Mira glances at her watch. She reads, ‘7:00 AM’.

“It seems like the world is giving me a break today...I guess I’ll go to the cafe and order some breakfast before school starts.”, she thought.

Mira took a fifteen-minute walk to the cafe and walked in, the smell of coffee and pastries filled the air. She looks at the menu and approaches the cashier. “Are you ready to order?”, the cashier said.

Mira turns towards the cashier and says, “Good morning...may I get a bottle of water and a breakfast sandwich to go, please?”...The cashier inputs the order and replies, “I’ll call you up when your order is ready.” She thanks the cashier and begins to walk away, but then she bumps into the person behind her.

She began to apologize, “Oh, sorry abo-”

*GASP*
