Xenon-(30 minutes earlier)

There’s beeping in the distance. Xenon’s alarm was going off. His eyes open slowly as he leaves the land of dreams. He turns off the alarm and looks at his phone. It says, ‘ 7:00 AM’.

“Oh, it’s seven in the morning. I need to get ready for school”, Xenon thought. He steps out of bed and changes into his school uniform while stuffing his school bag with books and his work clothes for his after-school job.

“I don’t want to be late for my first day at a new school. I should be able to get some food at the nearby cafe I saw.”, he thought. Xenon exits his apartment complex, a warm breeze flows by as he takes the five-minute walk to the cafe.

Xenon reaches the cafe and waits in line, a feeling of warmth and comfort emerges as he looks out a nearby window. The sky was a vibrant shade of blue, very few clouds remained, and the sun was beaming its warmth down on the Earth.

Xenon looks away from the window and turns his attention towards the menu, deciding what to get until...
