(Robin)
Trigger Warning: Self harm and panic attack
Once he shut and locked the bathroom door behind him, he leaned against it. He slowly slid down and sat on the floor. Robin stared at his scared hands, the scars he gave himself. He felt sick, but he couldn't move. He felt like the walls were closing in. Robin's lungs felt like they were lined with fur, his limbs felt like lead.
He focused on his breathing like his therapist told him to do. He felt okay, for just a moment. But this second of bliss disapated when he glanced back down at his hands. He felt his walls come chrashing down, and that feeling of drowning came back. His hands were shaking as he lifted them to his throat.
"I'm okay" he said in the most steady voice he could muster. Unsuprisingly, it came out in a scratchy squeak. He closed his eyes and gathered his knees up into his arms. Robin rocked back and forth, on the bathroom floor for a moment, breathing in and out slowly. He opened his eyes, and dragged himself off the floor. He looked into the mirror, and rubbed his eyes. He flushed the toliet before leaving the bathroom.
He walked as quickly as he could down the stairs, and to where the dining room was. His foster mom was chatting with their neighbor, Sarah.
"Rose?" he said trying to keep the sadness out of his voice "
She smiled a fake smile that Robin knew too well,
"What is it, hun?" she said, keeping the fake smile that looked more like a grimace plastered on her face.
"Can we go? Its getting late." He said as he looked away from Rose's prying eyes.
"Oh dear, it is late" said Sarah, which Robin found a bit too nice. "Well, i wouldn't like to keep you here this late, would you like to stay for dinner?" she asked Rose.
"I would, but my son has to do some unpacking" she said with another fake smile.
"Oh, Casey could walk him back to your house." said their neighbor, with a bit too much enthusasim for Robin's liking.
"That would be great." said Rose still maintaning her smile.
"CASEY, GET YOUR BUTT DOWN HERE" yelled Sarah again with an unsuspecting change it volume.
"Coming!" came a faint reply from upstairs.
"GET YOUR COAT TOO." shouted Sarah, again.
"Ok, ok" Casey muttered from upstairs.
He finally apeared at the end of the stairway after a bit of waiting.
"Can you walk Robin home, hun?" said Sarah with more of a comanding tone that a questioning one.
"Yes, i will, mom" muttered Casey as he headed for the door, he paused to snatch his coat of the hooks nailed into the wall.
Robin's feet stayed planted to the ground, he didn't move but he didn't know why.
Casey rased an eyebrow. "Coming or not?" he said as he opened the front door.
"Yes, sorry" Robin said as he followed Casey out the door.
