“Ugh, I absolutely hate the atmosphere of this place,” Jasmine said as she faked a gag. They were crossing through a Loreian Village just East of Torna, one of the largest cities in Loreia.

They were from Priah and to them, Lorians were cultic psychos “Yeah, I’m feeling it,” Samuel said rubbing the back of his neck. He had been feeling weird as soon as they got into town dizzy, anxious, and sweating nonstop.” Are you okay Sammy? You don’t look too good.” asked a concerned Kail. They were Sams two best friends and his betas, they were always together since they were kids.

”Um, I guess I’ll be fine I’m just feeling a bit odd.”.”Alright, but if it gets worse tell us okay.”Jasmine told him while handing the cashier at the inn the money for a room. The woman gave her a key and told her the room number and if she lost the key she would have to pay for it. Jasmine laughed and said goodbye and the three of them walked upstairs into a hallway that was narrow and smelled of dust. “This is it!” Jasmine exclaimed.

She always wanted to stay in hotels when they went to new places it was fun for her. she opened the door looked inside only to slam it shut. She let out a long sigh, before turning back to Sam and Kail and saying in a whin voice, “It’s disgusting!! Nothing is even clean, It looks like someone fucked in there!” .Kail and Samuel laughed and giggled at her.” Stop laughing! It’s so nasty in their I’ de rather sleep outside!” she yelled at them crossing her arms and puffing.

“Alright, love why don’t we go and look around the town for a while. I heard there was a fun event going on today.”Kail asked holding her arm and standing on his tippy toes to plant a sweet kiss on her cheeks. The two of them were mates and were always a silly puppy love, They were a fun couple to watch because Jasmine was 6’2 and kail was 5’1.

They all walked out following Samuel. God, I feel so weird, ugh my head hurts so bad. Sam though while he rubbed his temples. “Hey, Where is everyone ?”.Probably at that event I heard about” Kail shrugged. Sam reached out and tapped a woman walking in a white rope, she turned to look at him “ Yes?” she said annoyed”.Were is everyone?” he asked She looked up at him And replied,” I’m going to watch the sacrifice.”The Sacrifice?”, “Yes the sacrifice to our god Mortem, he is righteous and just. He protects us from all things. “ the woman said and walked away.

“Let’s go see.” kail said”. Why would you want to see that?” Samuel and Jasmine said in sync. “Oh common guys, what it’s a goat or something? Aren’t you curious?” He said with a grin. Samuel and Jasmine looked at each other regretfully “Alright fine.”

They walked to the middle of the town following the crowd of white robes into the center where everyone stopped moving. In the center of the crown on a podium gagged and tied pole/stake stood a sobbing boy. He was trembling and pleading but couldn’t make a sound because of the gag. As soon as Samuel laid eyes on him he saw red and almost toppled over as he realized that his wolf was calling out. The boy that was about to be sacrificed was his mate.
