"How long is this gonna take?" Kyung groaned. He was standing together with Parker in line to enter the sea aquarium. He glanced at all the families and couples standing in front of them and turned back towards Parker, who looked around anxiously.
"I don't know," Parker replied while he picked at his clothes. "It's Saturday, but I didn't expect so many people this early in the morning."
Kyung looked at him confused. "What do you mean? You can expect this on a Saturday. Jumin told me once that he went to a theme park once in the morning and it was still crowded."
"Now that I think about it, it was also crowded when we went to anime con last year. Remember?" Parker grinned. "When we cosplayed and you only cared about the food?"
"Oh yeah..." Kyung replied, also remembering something else that happened.
Miracle gasped. "Does that mean that you like him?"
"I don't fucking like him!" Kyung yelled.
He covered his face when that memory popped up. "It has already been a year, huh? Time sure goes by fast."
"That's definitely true." They kept silent after Parker said that.
Kyung looked back at the line and saw that it's almost their turn to go in. "Finally, that took too long," he muttered.
"Hey, Kyung," Parker spoke up. "You can decline if you like to, but do you want to go to comic con with me next month?" Parker glanced at him. "It's a two-day event in another city. We have to go by train and my dad also booked a hotel room for me, but I think that he'd be suspicious if I went with Miracle and she's not sure if she has time to go, so you were my next pick. I don't know if it will bother you guys to only go with me. I think that Jumin wouldn't care and that Min would love the idea. But I don't know about you or the other alters if you guys have more alters that I don't know about." He paused when he noticed that he was rambling. "Sorry about that."
"It's cool," Kyung said, trying his best not to smile. "It sounds fun, even though I'm not really a fan of those things like you. But I have to talk to June about that shit."
"I already talked to her. She said it's fine."
"But I still have to talk to the others about it," Kyung said.
"Aw," Parker pouted.
"Don't blame me, blame Jumin for that. He was the one who came up with that rule."
"No, I won't. I understand why he came up with it," Parker smiled and turned to look at the entrance. "We can go inside!"
Kyung looked at him while he talked with the man behind the counter. "Parker just asked me to go to comic-con with him. We have to go by train and we'll stay the night at a hotel with him. He already asked June and she said that it's fine. What do you guys say?"
"COMIC-CON?!" Min yelled. "Oh my Gosh! JUMIN! PLEASE LET US GO!"
"Fine," Jumin sighed after a minute of silence. "I'll talk to the others about it."
"Kyung?" Kyung snapped his head back towards Parker. "Let's go."
"Okay." They walked through the lobby as Parker made a mental note to visit the gift shop. Kyung grabbed one of the maps and opened it. "Where do you want to go first?"
Parker crouched down a little and scanned the map. "Oh! I want to see the sharks!" Parker said, his face beaming with excitement.
"Oh fuck yeah, let's go!" Kyung shouted and speed-walked through the corridors, stopping some times to look at the other sea creatures in the enormous water tanks.
"Kyung, look! I found Miracle!" Parker said, pointing at a clownfish.
"Oh, that's perfect!" Kyung laughed.
"Let's take a picture with it," Parker suggested while he grabbed his phone. Parker took the picture of them pointing at the fish with a big grin on their face. "To which group app should I send it? To the one with just the three of us or the one with Sky, Ash, and Yuki?"
"I don't care," Kyung replied. "I have the picture either way."
"Okay. I'll send it to them too then." Parker sent the picture in the group app and commented that they found Miracle. He turned his phone off immediately after that. "I'll read their responses later. Now for the sharks!"
After a few minutes of looking, they finally found the massive water tanks filled with small sharks. Both Parker and Kyung stared with awe at them.
"So, what now?" Parker asked after a while.
Kyung shrugged. "How am I supposed to know? I'm satisfied enough with this."
"The dolphin show will begin over five minutes," they heard from the intercoms.
"A dolphin show?" Parker echoed and turned to Kyung, his eyes shining brightly. "Let's go before we miss it!"
They speed-walked to the venue where it was held ran up the stairs. Parker scanned the crowded area for empty chairs while he tried his best not to pick chairs at the front. He decided to sit in the back row where there was hardly anyone.
Kyung frowned. "Why're we sitting here?" He asked. "I expected that you'd run down the stairs to the front row."
"I almost wanted to do that," Parker grinned. "But I don't want us to get wet. We still have that thing in the afternoon."
"Oh, right."
"Welcome everyone!" The dolphin trainer greeted through the mic while she waved at the crowd. "I'm Joanna and I'll be your host for this afternoon with my three friends. Suzy, Shimmer, and Ranger!" She whistled her flute while she lifted her hands. The three dolphins all jumped up, did a front flip, and dived back into the water.
"That was so cool!" Parker heard a childlike voice coming next to him. He glanced next to him, but he only saw Kyung with his focus on the dolphins, an innocent aura hanging around him. He turned towards Kyung with a slight frown. Kyung frowned and looked around. "Wait, where am I?" He looked around with a terrified look on his face. His eyes landed on Parker and Parker saw tears glistening in his eyes. "W-who are you?"
"Another alter? This is bad. How do I calm down a kid? I have to try something," Parker thought and smiled gently at him. "I'm Parker. I'm a friend of Jumin, Kyung, and Min," he said softly. "And you are?"
"Jeong," he mumbled and furrowed his eyebrows when he remembered where he heard the name "Parker". "Are you big bro Parker who Kyung talks about?"
"Big bro Parker?" Parker thought. "Yes, that's me," he grinned. "I invited Jumin to the sea aquarium because it's his birthday. They said that there'll be a dolphin show and that's why we're here."
"Oooh," Jeong responded.
"Do you also like dolphins?" Parker asked.
"Yes, I love them!" Jeong shouted enthusiastically. "They are so cool and pretty and they are also friends with the mermaid in the sea. I have a plushie of one, but miss June told me that she has to wash it."
"That's annoying. I remember when my dad did that with my favorite shirt back then." They heard loud cheering coming from the crowd. "Let's continue watching the show. We'll talk later about it, alright?"
"Okay," Jeong beamed.
Ten minutes passed by and the show ended. Parker stood up from his chair and stretched his arms. "Are you ready to go Jeong?" He asked as he turned towards him.
"Hm?" Jumin asked. "Jeong? Did he come out?"
"Oh, Jumin!" Parker said happily. "You're back!"
"It seems that we're already at the aquarium. The last thing that I remember is being home," he chuckled.
"Oh yeah," Parker muttered. "Well, I spent most of the time with Kyung and Jeong also showed up for a few minutes." Parker snapped his fingers. "Since I invited you, why don't we do a quick round again?" He suggested while he grabbed his phone. "We can also take as many pictures as you like. For the memories of course."
"Sure," Jumin replied.
"Hell yeah!" Parker wrapped his arm around Jumin's shoulder and extended his arm. "Say cheese!"
Parker did his round with Jumin while he showed him all the sea creatures. He also went all the way to take a lot of pictures together with Jumin. When they were done with that, they went to the gift shop and Jumin waited outside for Parker to return.
"What should I get him?" Parker thought while he held a big dolphin plushie in his hands. He noticed two matching dolphin key chains. "It's perfect," he whispered while he grabbed them and walked to the counter to pay for them.
Jumin looked up from his phone when he saw Parker walking towards him with a big bag. "What did you get?"
"I'll show you when we get back," Parker grinned. Jumin narrowed his eyes. "It's nothing weird!"
"Are you sure?"
"Oh, look at that!" Parker looked at his phone. "Miracle texted me that she's done writing and she's waiting for us to come back."
"Where does she want to go?" Jumin asked.
Parker shrugged. "She didn't tell me. She also wants it to a secret. We'll see when we get back."
20 minutes later
"I'm so hungry," Parker moaned while he rubbed his stomach. "I can really go for some pancakes."
"Are you staying over?" Jumin asked. "Because if you are, I can make some tomorrow morning."
Parker looked at him. "I'll notify my dad then."
Jumin sighed and opened the front door. "June! We're back!" He announced while they took off their shoes. They walked to the living room.
"SURPRISE!" Jumin jumped when he heard a few people scream while confetti flew everywhere. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"
Jumin turned confused back towards Parker who grinned at him. "Happy birthday, Jumin!"
