Episode 04 May 18, 2020.                                                                                            Edan.

Soft, so soft and warm. What is this? Where am I? Edan woke up feeling drowsy and confused. Edan woke up in a dark empty room. To the right, there was a nightstand with a candle that was almost burned to end, and his necklace lay neatly next to it. His bed was placed by the window, which was slightly open letting a cool breeze waft in, softly caressing his skin making him shiver under the blankets. Edan slowly shifted his way into a sitting position“ouch” he winced looking down at his stomach feeling The wound under his shirt.

  Oh god, this is big, how did I even get this? Where the hell am I, this is so weird.

   “SACRIFICE”.Edan suddenly remembered it all. Everything he had forgotten flushed back at once, sending him into a panic. He tried to get up and get away but his legs failed him, as he grabbed the nightstand and his necklace. Scrambling on the floor trying to get to the window, he had dropped the candle on the blanket that had fallen onto the floor.

   NO NO, NO, NO!!! Is this part of the sacrifice, am I dead? No, I need to get out of here. This hurts so bad. Novi, please give me strength and watch over me, I miss you and I’m so scared.

    Edan was trembling and had made his way into a corner near the window and was silently pleading as tears rolled down his face. He took a deep breath and tried to move the window. Fuck this, I’m not gonna stay here and get another fucking Hole in my side! He reaches the window barely able to stand and tried to unlatch it with his left hand he steadied himself with the other one. He was shaking too much to get the latch done quickly and as his legs slipped from under him he held onto the window seel and ripped his stitches, as he fell.

He let out a scream and grabbed his side in pain holing his hand over his mouth so no would hear his sobs. Pulling himself to the corner, the door burst open and figures came in that he couldn’t make out because his vision had grown blurry. To people went to the side of the bed were the blanket had caught fire, stomping on it to put it out.

     Three people came carefully up to him trying to calm him down but he just started yelling because he couldn’t make out what they were saying .” Stop, PLEASE I’m sorry!!” Edan yelled sobbing, he was terrified and thought they were just going to hurt him more he started to scream as they got closer touching him” HELP, HELP SOMEONE, NOVI, HEELP ME,” he sobbed.
