      Samuel let out a tired long sigh while he sat on the edge of the dock swinging his feet in the water, watching as the movements of his feet ripples in the lake. He was feeling uber depressed at the moment, which is understandable considering how he met his mate today. His depressing thoughts were interrupted by Kail running over to him shouting” SAM! SAMMY! HE WOKE UP! Which is good, OF COURSE! EXCEPT THAT HES FREAKING OUT AND THERE WAS A FIRE IN HIS ROOM SO YOU SHOULD GET THERE REAL SOON!” Kai said panting trying to catch his breath.” What?! Are you serious? Fuck I gotta go!"Samuel yelled frantically getting up and almost slipping as he ran off the dock towards Edan’s room.

    “NOVI!SOMEONE HELP ME!! AHHHHHHH PLEASE! HELP!” .Samuel could hear screams coming from his mate’s room as he ran in bursting the door open. Edan was a trembling sobbing mess while screaming for help as members of the pack tried to console him.”EVERONE OUT” Samuel yelled with a booming voice.” Yes, alpha.” everyone in the room said as they quickly walked out with their heads lowered.

    With everyone out, Samuel focused his attention on Edan who had stopped screaming but was still crying with his hands covering himself as best he could. Sam could smell his blood from when he had torn his stitches open. He slowly approached Edan who shuffled back into the corner.”Please, I don’t want to…”Edan whimpered.”What don’t you want? I won’t hurt you, I promise.”Samuel said calmly as he slowly moved Edan’s hand from his face. He sat in front of the Edan now trying to calm him down.”I-Is this part of the sac-crific-ce” Edan sobbed .samuel gasped “NO! It’s not we saved you, you are safe now, Don’t worry”.Edan looked shocked as he stopped crying.” Really? “he asked.”Yes, I am Samuel, What is your name?”.”My n-n-name? I-its, its Edan, Edan m-march”. Ok Edan I Saved you and we’re mates, also we have a lot to talk about so how about first before anything else we fix up your wound?” .Edan had stopped crying “ok wow… um yeah, lets d-do that w-w-we c-can talk about that stuff tomorrow ?”.”Yes, that’s what I was planning, trust me ok?” .Edan nodded and made a small yelp as Sam scooped him up and placed him onto the bed. He gently pulled off Edan’s shirt and looked at his wound.” It’s not too bad” Sam said with a gentle smile.

         Sam called the doctor in, he fixed Edan’s wound Edan had started to cry again while sam tried to soothe him. The doctor left leaving the to alone.”So were mates ??”Edan asked quietly.” “Huh? oh yes, we are but let us talk about that tomorrow” Sam replied sweetly,” I am not completely trusting right now but I’m too tired o care so tomorrow’s fine.” Edan said shakily. “Ok well, then goodnight.” Sam said as he got off of the bed .”Wait!! Co-ould you st-t-tay with me, for the nig-ght?”Edan asked. Sams shock turned into happy feelings he sat on the bed and kissed Edan’s hand,” Of course”. He laid back and gently pulled Edan onto his chest. Sliding the blanket over himself and Edan, Edan leaned forward softly panting a kiss on Samuel’s chin. He whispered “Thank you.” and nuzzled into Sam’s chest as they both drifted into a deep calming sleep.
