Unknown assassins hound the steps of Marshal Areghyr Deguisay, the supreme commander of the Halcian Republic. As the attack gets blamed on the neighbouring kingdom of Bereg and the senate cries for vengeance, Deguisay's surviving adjutants struggle to uncover the real enemy.
