I traveled with Astrid for only a few months, but we came to rely on each other and trust each other. Astrid Grimm is the only daughter of the Empire of Night’s Grimm family. She has two brothers who are authors and also demon hunters. Her uncle works as the Inquisitor for the Empress and has informed me he does not approve of his niece’s involvement with me. Astrid had dreams of becoming an instructor at the Imperial Academy of Magic someday. I hope to find a way to break the hold the Sparrow Clan has on her. So far, my research has turned up very little.
