“...”
Kio uncomfortably shifted in his spot. “I know that you didn’t mean to kill him, Kio. You just wanted to leave a message.” Kio sighed.
“I don’t know why it’s eating at me! I-I thought what I was doing was right...” It had been months since Kio originally hid away. Honestly, it wasn’t awkward for them to be around each other. Marcus embraced Kio in a comforting hug. Marcus suddenly shot up. “I, uh,—“ he cleared his throat. He looked to be sweating. Kio caught up on a sweet scent before Marcus sped out of the room. Kio’s face plastered with worry.
. . .
Marcus unbuttoned his shirt, panting heavily. He opened his drawer to find an empty bottle of pills. He threw the bottle against the wall. “Dammit!” He cursed. “I can’t get through the day like this, I NEEDED those pills!” Marcus plopped onto his bed. His hands slid down his body as if they were snakes. He sighed in ecstasy. He began to moan quietly, until—
“Marcus? Are you okay?” Marcus jolted, then clapped his hand over his mouth to stop a final moan from exiting. He’d...”done it”, onto his hand. “I-I’m fine, don’t come in.”
“Are you sure? You have a different scent to you, and I’d—“
“Really, you should go.” Marcus heard Kio walk away. Marcus sighed, looking at the mess he’d made. “I’m disgusting.”
