After talking of what could have happen, and the places where they could have found his essence, they decided to go back to the temple and contact with the diamonds to see if they found something.

They teleported to the temple Diamond-Base and turned on the comunicator, but what they saw wasn't the diamonds.

Bluebird: Hahahaha! Look what we have! 

She showed Steven's gem in a bubble.

Peridot: Don't touch that, you clod!

Bluebird smiled.

Bluebird: Well, if you don't want us to CRACK him, then, you'll have to do us a favor~

The gems looked at she, confused.

Bluebird: Burn Little homeworld, bubble every earth gem, destroy the temple and stop the era three!

Connie: We can't do that!

Bluebird: Are you sure?

She unbubbeled Steven's gem.
