“Alright, Marcus said to get...here they are.” Kio was at the pharmacy shopping for stabilizers for Marcus. Kio was happy that Marcus told him beforehand, since then, heats were just about every 4 or 5 weeks for them. The gap was WAY wider for Marcus since he was a half breed. Meaning, his heats were worse than any Omega. Kio plopped the medication on the counter. The clerk blinked at the bottle then raised an eye brow to Kio. “Yeah, it happens...yep...” The clerk stared and Kio for a little longer then finally scanned the items. “Thanks, have a good one.” Kio rushed out of the store.
. . .
(Small TW: self hate)
“What the actual hell that was by far the worst interaction Kio—“ Kio’s eye caught onto a familiar face. It was one of the people from the bar. And they weren’t a bystander. Kio looked down and sped past the person as discreetly as he could.
When he got back to Marcus, Marcus was still in his room.
“Marcus? I’m coming in, ‘Kay?” Kio opened the door to see Marcus lying in his bed, his clothes stuck to his body from sweat. Kio sat the bottle of pills on Marcus’ night stand.
“I...I’m sorry you have to see me like this.” Kio sat on the foot of Marcus’s bed.
“It happens to us all, Marc.”
“I’m horrible.”
“Marcus—“
“I’ve always been, Kio. I never asked to be born from a disgraceful family. I never even wanted to be like this...!”
“Marcus!” Kio cupped Marcus’s face in his hands.
“Why do you think that way, man? You’re amazing.”
Marcus sat up.
“It’s what’s I was always told. By my grandparents, my siblings, cousins, “friends”...No, it’s—“ Marcus rubbed his face.
“It’s fine. I shouldn’t bitch about it.”
Kio frowned.
“Marcus, saying what you feel is all apart of feeling better. Who ever said talking about your feelings is “bitching”, can suck my d—“ Marcus covered Kio’s mouth.
“Alright, alright. Thank you for being here, though.” Marcus popped two pills into his mouth. “It’s not much right now, I should have taken some beforehand.”
“Tell me about it,” Kio commented as he pulled out some clothes for Marcus.
“You should shower. You—“ Kio pinches his nose.
“Have a bad case of DA FUNK.” Marcus chuckles as he grabbed the clothes.
“Uh...Kio? I uh...might need someone to wash my back.♡” Kio flushed.
“Hmm...Fine, I’ll...”wash your back”. Don’t do anything tricky.”
