Jayme entered the school with her bag on her back. She looked around at all the kids, she knew people were staring at her as she was one of the only gay kids at the school. She soon saw Luci and got excited and ran over. She looked at Penny, Kip, and Luke and sighed. “Oh, hey Luci wanna meet my friends!”she said, looking at Luci. She smiled as she put her arm on Luci’s shoulder.

“What do you want fag, you know Luci is only friends with you since she feels bad!”Luke said as he looked at Jayme and scoffed. He looked at Penny, seeing her look away but did not question it.

“Sure Jayme, I would love to meet your friends and don't listen to Luke. He's just an ass and doesn't know you like I do.” Luci said as she walked off with Jayme towards her friends. “No it's alright, I've had to deal with worse people in my life, his words are just an ant. Small and useless!’’ Jayme said as she looked around slightly. She soon looked to her friends who were in the distance. She still had her arm on Lucis shoulder.

Cindi and Jaxson were the other two people that were out as they both were in the lgbtq+ community. “Hey guys I want you guys to meet someone important to me!’’ Jayme said, walking over to them with Luci next to her. “Hey im Luci, i've known Jayme since 8th grade!''she said looking at the two then at Jayme with a smile. She felt warm when Jayme said she was important to her but she didn't know why so she just took it as if it were hot in the school even though it was cold.

“Well Luci it's nice to meet and and it's good to know that Jayme has another friend, I'm guessing you're in the community? No one else would dare to talk to Jayme or us?”Cindi said, looking at Luci with a warm smile. She was a short person and very confident and didn't know if she was saying anything that could have been offensive.

Luci blushed from what Cindi said. “No sorry, I'm straight but I don't care who someone is as long as they don't hurt anyone ill be friends with them!” Luci said with a chuckle as she then looked at Jayme and smiled.

“Hey! Luci get your ass over here Kip is doing something stupid!” Luke yelled, waving to Luci to walk away from the three.

“Sorry guys but im gonna go, i hope we can maybe talk later. Me and Jayme are going to a cafe you guys are welcome to come! I'd love to get to know you guys.’’ Luci said, walking off waving. She had no classes with Jayme so she wouldn't see her at any other time of the day except for after school which normally they would hang out after school and sometimes during lunch.

Jayme sighed slightly and looked down. She felt cold inside when Luci left as she then heard Jaxson say something. “Huh what'd you say?” she said looking at him. “I said you like her dont you?” he said, looking at her with a tilt in his head. “What no! You heard she's straight and you know never to fall in love or like someone who is straight.”Jayme said as she walked off a bit pissed that Jaxson said that.

Jaxson told cindi he would be right back. “Wait no i'm sorry! I shouldn't have said that! It was rude of me to assume and I know thats a stupid rule you have.”he said catching up with Jayme. He felt bad but knew Jayme would forgive him or so he thought. “You know Jaxson, you know its not a stupid rule as it keeps me out of drama and out of thought so i can focus on school! So maybe you and your boyfriend should go hang out away from me!”she said looking at him she soon stopped realizing what she said. “Wait no i'm sorry I wasn't thinking and i'm sorry you know I can get reactive and rude sometimes!”she said not wanting Jaxson to be mad at her. They had been friends for years ever since first grade.

“You know Jayme fine! I'll let you cool down, see you later and don't expect me to forgive you! You know I hate it when you bring Mark into your stupid drama as he dosent deserve anything that isnt truly about him!”he said walking off out of sight of Jayme. He was pissed as he had been with Mark for a year and he loved him.

Jayme tried to catch up with him but couldn't “Jax im sorry, please forgive me!”she yelled but knew he couldn't hear her. She sighed and knew she would have to deal with Jaxson later. She heard the bell and walked off. She hoped to be able to talk to him in their art class, as they both were in art together. She looked around as she then walked to her class sitting down. She sighed and put her head on her table. “Why did i have to say that! He's going to be so mad at me for a while…”she said as she felt so guilty.

Jayme took out her phone looking at it. She went to text and then pressed on Jaxsons and their conversations. ‘ jax i'm sorry please i was mad and you know how i can be when im mad or pissed, we both said something wrong but i said something worse and i know i shouldn't have said that alright im so sorry please jax forgive. I'll buy you and mark dinner for some place just please forgive me! ‘ she texted and sent the text but knew he didn't look at his phone till lunch. She sighed and then heard her name be called on.

“Jayme please give me your phone. I saw you texting!”the teacher said. The teacher walked over taking Jaymes phone off her desk before she went back to the front of the room and went back to teaching.

Jayme sighed and wasn't happy that she had to wait till lunch just to talk to Jax as she knew on mondays Luci wasn't available during lunch.

Lunch

Jayme went to the lunch room and looked around for Jaxson. She needed to talk to him since she didn't have her phone so she couldn't see if he had answered her text. She then walked up to Cindi and sat down next to her. “Hey do you know where Jaxson is, I sorta said something rude about him and his boyfriend and now he's mad and i'm trying to say sorry but i got my phone taken away and I can't see if he replied to my text?”Jayme said, looking to Cindi as she scratched her head. “No sorry I think he actually went out for lunch with Mark, sorry about that..”Cindi said as she watched Jayme walk off.

Jayme ran out of the school and to her car. She knew exactly where Jax and Mark went for lunch as she then looked around for her keys but then remembered that she had driven to school with Jaxson. “Shit!”she said as she sat down at the front of the school. “Damn it, why did I have to say that to him!” she said as she then stood up and walked into the school and to the cafeteria and sat back down next to Cindi. “Wake me when lunch is over please…”Jayme said, laying her head down soon falling asleep.

“Jayme wake up lunch is over, you have art next to maybe you can talk to Jax…”Cindi said as she then got up leaving Jayme. Jayme got up grabbing her bag from her last class then walked to art. She wasn't the best at art but she enjoyed doing it. Jaxson was in the class and was talking to someone on his phone. Jayme walked up to him tapping him on his shoulder. “hey I got my phone taken away in math so I couldn't see if you replied to my text?”she said as she then sat down in the chair next to him.

“Call you later Mark, Jayme is trying to talk to me…”he said, then turning to Jayme and putting his phone away. “What do you want Jayme, you said some rude stuff.” Jaxson said and waited for Jayme to respond. “I'm sorry Jax I messed up and said some rude stuff so please forgive me”she said as she looked at him and then looked down then back up.

“Im still pissed at you but ill forgive you, and it was slightly stupid of me to get that mad at you..”he said as he then looked to the teacher who ha started talking.

Afterschool

Cindi, and Jaxson had already headed to the cafe. Jayme walked to the front of school seeing Luci she ran over. “Hey wanna go to the cafe?’’ she asked as they walked to Lucis car. “Yeah , oh yeah Penny is having a party later tonight wanna go?”Luci asked as she unlocked the car. she watched as jayme got excited. “Ummmmmm hell yeah! I love parties, will there be beer?”Jayme asked as she got her seatbelt on. Jayme did drink quite a bit but most of the time she was careful to get drunk.

“Yeah probably, Penny or Luke will definitely bring beer, anyway if not you know someone will..”she said as she started to car. Jayme told her the directions of the cafe and soon they arrived.

“So here the place is, it's small but it's an amazing place!”Jayme said with joy in her voice. She walked into the building with Luci following behind. “Hey y'all i guess you did decide to join us!”Jayme said as they sat down with Jaxson, and Cindi. The four talked for quite a while, enjoying eachothers company. “So how do you know Jaxson?”Luci asked Jayme and Jaxson as she could see that the two knew each other quite well, and that they went way back. “Oh me and Jayme, yeah we go back way back! Our parents sorta forced our friendship hoping we'd end up together but we met in first grade.”he laughed as Jayme laughed with him. It was stupid to think that the two were supossed to end up together but in the end they didn't.

Luci looked at the time and then to the group. “Hey I already talked to Jayme about this but Penny is hosting a party and I think it would be fun if you guys came. I'm gonna go as i'm helping Penny set stuff up but I hope to see you guys there! Bye Yall, bye Jayme!”she said as she got up leaving. Jayme waved bye and then looked to the other two. “So who's going to go with me?”she asked as she tilted her head slightly. “Well I have already got stuff planned but you guys are welcome to go without me, anyway I think Mark would love to spend the night out with you Jax so you should go!” Cindi said with a smile. “Yeah why not, how about I drop You off at your guys house, Jayme I can pick you up in an hour maybe and we can head over?”he asked and then watched her nod. The three then got up and went to Jaxsons car and soon he dropped them off.
