Today I set out once again on a road I have not yet traveled. I am following a rumor about a supposed island of fairies. Selina travels with me. She seems to believe I will get into trouble without her to help me.

Her ears flick toward me as I write this. I must admit that I never expected to learn of the existence of werecats, much less travel one. The continent of Haruhi is full of such wondrous beings, most of which are believed to be fairy tales in the other continents.

The wagon has stopped now. I take this chance to observe my companion as she consults a map. Selina Kittenstouch is a female werecat, age 15 (they develop at the same rate as humans until they hit around at 25, at which aging slows immensely. Werecats as a species have quite the longevity.), around I would estimate four feet and eleven inches in height. She has light brown catlike ears and a light brown tail. Her hair is the same color and falls to her shoulders. Her eyes are a sky blue and the rest of her looks like a pretty normal girl.

Despite having traveled with her for several days I had forgotten to write a description of her in my journal. If my artistic skills were better I would draw a portrait of her. Unfortunately I have so little talent in this area that to attempt to draw would be an insult to her. Selina has asked the horses to continue, for she tells me that she sees fairies in the wind ahead of us.
