The Ancient Magus' Bride? Full marks to your dream-daemons for knowing good reference material! Although, from what I know of The Ancient Magus' Bride, Elias is more the "spooky but a very good friend" sort than he is nightmare fuel. (I admit, though, I wouldn't want to get him angry...)
