My goal with this comic is to make people (who often don’t see themselves in the media) feel represented. As pride month begins we cannot forget the black and brown trans women and lesbians who were and have always been at the forefront of the LGBT+ movement and are the reason we have what we have today. The brutal murder of George Floyd at the hands of a white cop sparked protests in many places, but it was only one case of many, many, many other black people who are assaulted, wrongly imprisoned, murdered, because of the systemic racism not only in the USA but also around the world. In this post I’m adding various links of resources, information, threads, and people to donate to. If you can’t protest, donate. If you can’t donate, sign a petition and share. I will be adding more as I find, and anyone is welcome to add any other links in the comments. If any links don’t work let me know. Black lives matter. And don’t forget that pride started as a riot.
