PRESENT DAY: JAPAN, EARTH

After approaching the PC again, Kenichi scratched his chin. "Weird..." He read now on the screen a welcome message. "It seems it returned to the beginning. So... PW... And now, T!" The message to go to the capsule appeared again.

Kenichi entered again, now feeling brave. As the glass closed, Kenichi giggled. "It's not gonna happen anything, so..." He closed his eyes as the capsule's interiors started to shine bright. Suddenly, he would feel a rush of air on his face. "Hmm?" He opened his eyes and...

"WHAAAAAAAT?!" He was falling from the sky. "AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!"

PRESENT DAY: XXX XXXX XXXXXX, XXXXXX

Taro's eyes return to normal as he breathes deeply. "Still have some moves." Taro stops kneeling and walks towards the boar, until he hears something. "Hmm?" The sound was coming from the sky and it sounded like a scream. "I'm not seeing anything." He said, getting into a battle stance.

Suddenly, someone would fall some meters away from him, creating a mountain of dust and causing him to protect his eyes by covering them with his left arm.

"Where am I...?" A dizzy voice could be heard behind some bushes.

Taro carefully went through the bushes and when he does. "What the hell?"

PRESENT DAY: XXX XXXX XXXXXX, XXXXXX

"How the hell didn't I hurt myself?" Kenichi says, getting the dust off of his school uniform.

Tarozaemon takes out his sword, getting into an offensive stance. "Who are you?"

"Hm?" Kenichi turns to Tarozaemon and quickly gets his hands on the air. "I'VE COME IN PEACE! This guy... Speaks perfect Japanese and is wearing a kimono? Is he some kind of starting NPC?"

"In peace?" Tarozaemon puts his sword back into the scabbard. "Again, who are you?"

"My name is Kenichi Sanada. You?"

Tarozaemon takes a quick glance at Kenichi. "I'm Tarozaemon Kitagawa. Come, I'll help you."

"Oh... OK!" Kenichi starts following him. "Yeah... Pretty sure he's the beginning of the game's NPC..."

"Welcome back!" Machi waved, as Kenichi and Tarozaemon, approached her house. "Taro brought a guest? That's so unlike you..."

"He's not a regular guest. Bring us some cups of water and he'll explain why." The tall man ordered.

"Hum? OK!" After that, Kenichi explained the whole situation.

"Computer? Program? Weird words I've never heard of..." Tarozaemon reflected. "Machi, what do you think?"

"Interesting to say the least, because we know the woman he speaks of, but that's weird..."

"You know my mother?!" Kenichi was surprised, not only he was nowhere on Earth, but these strangers knew his mother as well.

"Yeah, Feliticia Sanada was the founder of the Royal City to the north of here." Machi answered.

"Royal City?" Kenichi was confused.

"This world, Tvaryn, has several Royal Cities. Feliticia is one of them. That Royal City was founded three centuries ago, so our Feliticia Sanadas can't be the same." She explained.

"I see... Well, in any event, my name's Kenichi Sanada. Yours?"

"Machi Shirogane." The cat girl said. "Why won't we look for clues in Nyu Oll Town?" She suggested.

"Better than nothing. I also had to go there, so it adds up well." Tarozaemon said.

PRESENT DAY: NYU OLL TOWN, TVARYN

"Why did you decide to trust in him, Taro?" Machi asked Tarozaemon, murmuring.

"Look at his clothes. I traveled to many places and I've never seen anything like it. He's either telling the truth or he's just a really good liar. Anyways, I haven't felt any of it coming from him, so we're fine even if he's a liar."

"I see... Well, I know where you're going, so I'll just take a look around."

"Sure." He pets her head. "Don't go too far, kiddo."

"Yeah!" She said, before running on her own.

"Let's go." Tarozaemon said to Kenichi and guided him to a merchant's shop.

"Oy, Taro!" A boar-man greeted him. He looked like an anthropomorphic boar with grey fur, but also had some shoulder-length black hair.

"Oy, Ryuk. Do you have her?"

"Yeah." He goes to a little room in the back and returns with a sword and its scabbard. "Your lil' Masamune was damaged pretty badly, but you know there's nothing I can't repair!" He laughs, proudly.

"Yeah, that's why I entrust her to you." Tarozaemon says, giving back the sword he already had. "Here's Raijin."

"Thanks! And who's the little guy?"

"He's from the outlands." Tarozaemon answered for Kenichi. "I needed to talk to you about them."

"Understood." Ryuk said, guiding him to the back room, while Kenichi waited.

"It's boring to just wait..." Kenichi says. "I'll just look around near the shop." He then decided to leave the shop.

PRESENT DAY: NEAR NYU OLL TOWN, TVARYN

Riding an horse, a figure with a prehensile scorpion tail and some white, grey and red hooded uniform, approached the town with an evil expression on his face.

PRESENT DAY: RYUK'S SHOP, NYU OLL TOWN, TVARYN

Tarozaemon and Ryuk are talking, while looking to a map.

"Are you sure of that?" Tarozaemon asked.

"I'm almost sure their new settlement is here near Feliticia" Ryuk answered, marking a location on the map "Probably on the Silent Hills."

"We're hunting for a monster that has never been seen... We don't have time for those guys..."

"What if she's there?" Ryuk was concerned for his friend.

"Then I would need to sever all ties for good." Tarozaemon looked to some torn white, grey and red hooded uniform.

PRESENT DAY: NYU OLL TOWN, TVARYN

Machi is walking around. "Taro always takes so much time talking to Ryuk... Jeez, just hurry it up, geezer... Hmm?"

Machi notices an hooded figure approaching Kenichi on a horse.

"Kid, do you know a Tarozaemon Kitagawa?" The figure said, getting off the horse.

"Hmm? I actually know one, yeah..." Kenichi answers him, a bit confused.

The scorpion man smiles sadistically to Kenichi. "Good..." He prepares his tail and Kenichi starts to get scared, but before anything can happen, a kunai lands near his feet, breaking his concentration.

"Stop right there!" Machi was very serious. "Who are you?! What do you want?!" She focuses on the figure that suddenly disappears. "Wha-What?"

"Machi!" Kenichi's scream could be heard. The enemy was right in Machi's face, ready to pierce her stomach with his tail, but suddenly Kenichi tackles him and both go to the ground.

"Tch..." The scorpion gets up and cleans his clothes. "I see you can't wait to die... OK then... YOU'LL BE THE FIRST ONE!" He launched his tail at Kenichi, that grabbed a nearby rock, dodged the tail and struck it with the rock. "Do you really think it's a rock that'll kill me?!"

"No, but I won't let you have your way, you cretin!" Machi was surprised by Kenichi's words. He then threw the rock at the figure and started running towards him.

The scorpion caught the rock, but when he looked forward, Kenichi had disappeared. "Wh-What?!"

Suddenly, Kenichi appeared above him. "Take this!" He connects his left heel to the top of the enemy's head, making him fall, face first. "My body is so much lighter in this world... I feel so fast... So light... So... Powerful!" Kenichi doesn't let him stand up and kicks him some feet away. While running, Kenichi would still catch up before he fell, punching him in the guts, throwing him against a big rock.

Machi noticed that Kenichi had a faint silver aura around him. "Is that... SOUL?"

The figure stands up and spits a bit of blood. "What the hell's up with this kid?" Kenichi's eyes had a shining silver glow to them. "So he's using it too? I see..."

"Stop mumbling and come get some!" Kenichi smirked.

"As you please..." The scorpion's eyes started to shine green and he started to dash quickly towards Kenichi and tackled him, making them both hit a building's wall.

"Kenichi!" Machi screamed as soon as they hit the wall. Kenichi was spitting some blood, but the scorpion didn't care and kicked him towards the air.

"You'll die a merciless dead, punk..." The enemy was ready to jump, but Machi suddenly drop-kicked him some feet away. Her eyes were also glowing, but her eyes were red, instead of the figure's green. She then jumped super high, grabbed Kenichi and helped him land.

"Thanks, Machi..." He said, tired.

"No prob..." Machi was interrupted by a scorpion tail hitting her in the head, throwing her against another rock.

"Machi!" Kenichi looked at the enemy that was standing in front of him. "You...!" A huge power enveloped Kenichi's body as he started to focus.

"What?! Why is his SOUL still getting higher?! I didn't know he had such a powerful secret partner... I need to get out of here. Hmm?"

Kenichi's eyes were all white, as he jumped at high speeds towards the figure, punching him so hard he flew out of the town. He then remained in place for a bit, breathing heavily, until he suddenly passed out.

AFTER SOME TIME: RYUK'S SHOP, NYU OLL TOWN, TVARYN

"Ken... Enichi... Kenichi!" A voice screaming for his name, made him wake up. He was at Ryuk's store. "Are you feeling alright?" It was Tarozaemon's voice. "That was a fight. Am I right?"

"Tarozaemon? Where am I? Wait... You know about it?"

"You're in Ryuk's store, remember it? I saw you giving that guy the last hit. That was impressive."

"Thanks... But what was that?" Kenichi asked, looking at his fist.

"It seems you have acquired this world's power, SOUL."

"But I have a soul already..."

"Not that soul. In this world, soul may refer to two things: The incorporeal essence of a living being or a power the inhabitants of this world possess. In that battle, you used so much SOUL that you passed out."

"I see... Do I have that much power?"

"No. When you're a baby in this world, your whole body manifests SOUL through every inch of it, every cell, but since it's the first time you're in this world and you already have a developed body, you expelled way too much SOUL." He explained. "But this made us confirm that you really are from another planet."

"I... Think I understand..." Kenichi said. "Wait! What about Machi?"

Tarozaemon pointed to a corner where Machi was sleeping. "She got a bit tired, nothing much."

"Good to hear that..." Kenichi sighed in relief.

"Now, Ryuk. Shall we continue our talk?" Tarozaemon turned to the boar.

"We shall. But what about him?"

"Maybe we should take him. I think he needs to know about our mission if he's gonna keep being with me and Machi."

"Yes. I think he deserves to know." Ryuk nodded.

"Know about what?" Kenichi was a bit confused.

Tarozaemon looked at Machi. "Machi's parents were killed by an entity known as Akuma. Though he's part of ancient legends of our world, Machi swears it was him. At least, the killer said that he was called Akuma. The only clue we have yet is about an info that came to me in an envelop."

"That's rough... But couldn't it be that she just misheard the name of the killer? She must've been young at that time, right?"

"The killing happened some years ago, yes, but... In the same envelop that I got the clue from, I received the information that this... Akuma, may target me next."

Kenichi scratched his head. "There's stuff I still don't get from this world... Hell, even from mine... But why should I know this?"

"I wanna go to the Royal City to show you the statue of Feliticia. To get there, we may find him and I'll need to kill him."

"If I see that statue, I might know if it's really my mother or not, but..." He thought. "I don't know how to fight, but if you train me, I'd be able do defend myself and maybe help you." Kenichi looked at Tarozaemon.

Tarozaemon was surprised, but suddenly laughed and offered his hand to Kenichi to help him stand. "That's an odd request, but... I shall train you. It's best if we ever get separated." He extended his hand to help Kenichi up. "Now... I'll be very strict. Are you really ready for that?"

Kenichi smirked. "Hell yeah!" He took Taro's hand and before he used it to get up, he shook it as if closing a deal.
