The boom in the distance had sounded a lot like thunder. It could have also been debris falling from high up.

"Caiser, I'm going to sleep in my wolf form, ok?" said Kodan sleepily.

"I won't freak out if that's what you're worrying about," he said. "Also first watch is mine. Muah hahahahahahaha! Your turn is at 12. I'll make sure to wake you up a few minutes early."

"Bruh, hail no. I'm on guard tomorrow. Also, I was saying that so that Aira won't wake up in the dead of night screaming bloody murder, " says Kodan.

"Aira's on watch tomorrow not you then it's me at 12 so you can chill and sleep for one whole night. then I finally get a full night's sleep the third night and we can keep rotating like that, k? No one better fall asleep halfway through their shift. I swear to god." Caiser half-yells.

All but one, Caiser, fell into a deep slumber away from the harsh reality of life that had been shoved onto them. Soon enough, it became 11:50 and Kodan has abruptly pulled from the bliss of his dream.

"Aww come on man," he said while looking at his watch. "It's only 11:50."

"Hah, you deserve it, you lazy potato. Making me to the groceries with Aira while you sat back and watched the camp. Goodnight, you fluffy bean." Caiser said, about to fall asleep.

In the morning, only Kodan was sleep deprived as they snuffed out the fire used to warm themselves and their food. They walked through the city until they finally saw an intact car which had an amazing effect on all of them. They were so excited as to find a car which, to their amazement, had the keys inside. They broke a window and wala, the car was theirs. They started to drive away. However,, they did not notice the man with a gun trained on them.
