NOTES:
- In this universe, humans and Pokemon don't speak the same language! That's why the Pokemons speech bubbles are in a different style. Having the ability to speak Pokemon is a fairly rare occurrence - only about 10% of the Galar population can do so!
-Thus, none of our main protagonists can speak Pokemon. Trainers obviously still talk to their Pokemon, through, it's sort of like what we do with our own pets lol
-The 'starters' aren't actually starters in this region! Because the Gym Challenger is so different in Galar culture than other regions, they don't actually have designated three starters since pretty much almost anyone has a shot at joining the challenge with their own Pokemon. Leon just figured a basic three evolution stage would be a good choice for beginning trainers since the Scorbunny/Grookey/Sobble lines are all pretty reliable and sturdy!
