“Xenon?! What are you doing here?”, Mira asked, surprised. “Save the questions for later. We have to run before the shadow attacks again!”, Xenon replied as the Advisor prepared for its next attack. “Shadow? Are you talking about the Advisor? Wait...does this mean you can see Advisors?!”, Mira asked as they dodged an attack from the Advisor. “Nevermind, just get out of here!”, Mira ordered Xenon. Except he didn’t move.

Mira turned away from Xenon and took out a small red stone from her bag. She slammed the stone on the ground and it began to emit a slight glow as if it was going to explode; but then Mira suddenly threw it at the Advisor. As soon as the stone hit the Advisor, it burst into blinding light and the Advisor became paralyzed.

This was the moment Mira waited for. She sprinted towards the Advisor and withdrew a small book. She chanted a spell from the book and the Advisor fell to the ground, unconscious.

She approached Sam, his Advisor still knocked-out, and unpacked a vial of golden liquid. She poured some of the liquid into his mouth as well as his Advisor. Sam’s Advisor had returned to its original golden color and Sam awoke with a start. “What happened?”, he said. “You suddenly passed out. Do you need to be taken to the nurse’s office?”, Mira asked. “No, I feel fine. Thanks, I better head back to class now.”, Sam replied as he made his way back.

Xenon walked up Mira and asked, “Are we not going to talk about what just happened? You fought against a shadow and actually won?! You could’ve been hurt! Who exactly are you?”

Mira replied, “I’m okay. To tell you the truth, that was probably the easiest purification I have ever done. And I figured you would have questions after seeing all that but answer my questions first: Why were you following me? And you said something about a shadow earlier. Were you talking about the Advisor? Can you see them?”

“Purification? Advisors? Is that what you call the shadows? Interesting. And yes, I can see them.”, Xenon said as he brushed his silver hair out of his eyes...RING!!!

“That’s the bell. We should hurry back to class. Can we talk tomorrow? I want to continue this conversation but I have work after school.”, Xenon asked with curiosity in his voice. Mira agreed as both of them headed to class.
