“How did you open that portal?” I asked curiously.

“With magic.”

“Are there more than one god?”

“Yes.”

“How long have you existed?”

“That's not important.”

Covering her nose again “Listen, you really need to take a shower. I can't deal with the stench.”

“Oh apologies. Selyne.” I take a few steps back.

“When we get there, I expect you to walk straight into the bath…”

When the conversation was over, not another word was said until we presumably got to her living quarters. As we were getting there, I could see luscious fishes in a pond. Their scales vibrantly glowed. Eavesdropping on what looked to be mushroom talking people. I listened to what they were conversing to.

“So, anyway I told Marco that his spores were keeping me up all night. Then he goes, “Why? Is it sporing you?”” Both of the mushrooms started laughing. Guessing mushroom jokes is a thing.

I also heard another one from another mushroom, “So I went to the supermarket to get some water, then the cashier goes to me and says that I need to cut some weight, cuz my funguses are spewing.” Again...maybe it's humorous to them, but others wouldn't find it funny. I however do find the jokes funny, somewhat.

Selyne whispers to me, “Ignore the mushrooms, if you dont want to be involved in their dumb jokes.”

I heed her advice and keep to myself.

The infrastructures are somewhat genuinely not primitive, albeit it mostly because the buildings and houses are built from mushrooms, yet they seem sturdy and durable. You can also note the stone pavements, used for footing, presumably for other creatures to walk on.

Selyne explained to me that we are currently in a cave, explaining the minerals that glow from time to time. It's actually quite pretty, especially with the music playing for each light that shines. She gave an explanation of how the minerals that are glowing begin vibrating the moment sunlight reaches them. Since the crystals keep obtaining light from the minerals jumping back off of each other, the light show is infinitely sounding light consistently.

That was intriguing, it's almost as if I am in a fantasy world.

Well if we are still in the cave, what was the outside like? Seeing a light from the other end, I rush out to see the outside. My eyes are still adjusting to the brightness of the outside. As she walked ahead of me Selyne began introducing me to her world.

“Welcome to the land of the gods, human.”

“Since you have no name to call you with, you shall be given the name of, Mokie!”

“From here on out, you shall learn the ways of an art god, grow and pave your path. It is an honor to be the last of your kind. You were fortunate enough that I have found you.”

Pointing her sword in the air, she expected an encore...so I gave her one.

Clap clap*

Giving a smirking smile, her expression changed quickly.

“I have always wanted to do that introduction.” unsheathing her weapon, she stores it back to her satchel.

Covering her nose, after that speech. She continued onwards. “Let’s go, you really need that shower.”

On the outside, I can see floating land. It was spectacular just as the caves have with its own beauty. The outside is even more vibrant, with a mysterious life that is foreign to me.

Looking around the area in the skies are huge mountains, floating in the sky. Waterfalls flowing down from the mountains. Silhouette of flying creatures could also be seen near the mountains.

Along the way we came across a river, I can see fishmen fishing for fish? That's pretty odd…

I thought I have seen weirder things, but none of that could compare with humanoid plants. By the river, I just see them dipping their feets in the water. One weird one that caught my eye was one that had strawberries for hair, and another with a corn shaped head.

When one of the plants approached, Selyne blocked further advancements towards the both of us.

“Hey, will any of you care to consume me?” as it said in a cheery tone.

“No thank you, let us be on our way.” Selyne probably knew what these plants could do.

“Awww, such a shame, maybe next time.” It made a gaze at me, and immediately went back to its merry way.

That plant probably might have the same properties as those plants that burst out from you if you consume them. That must be it. Ugh don't tell me they are here too.

“Excuse those indecent plants, they have tendencies of aphrodisiac rushing to them when the thought of being consumed arises.” Walking with a stern posture, she must not have been kidding.

“What was that…?” I wanted to know more, as it's a pretty unnerving notion to me.

“These plants will...will, I repeat...take any chance of opportunity to...to be consumed for their own self pleasure!” Stuttering her words she had a flushed face, as giving me a hint at something that I have no chance of understanding.

“Uh..huh.” I just nod at what she said. And the conversation regarding the plants was never brought up again. Something must really bug her out about the humanoid plants, if she must not want to talk about it.

Approaching a gate, it seemed as though the way back to her place wasn't so long. Oh well, I will just explore on my own time when I get the chance.

When the large gate opened there was an opening ceremony waiting for Selyne, almost as if they were preparing for her return. I can hear trumpets in the background, and harmonic Instruments giving a welcome back experience.

“Clerthew!” Selyne screamed...

But nothing happened.

Appearing from the halls a stroller came down. When it stopped, the person behind it stood out to greet her mistress.

“A pleasure in your safe return madam.”

“Mhm.” She nods

“Where is Clerthew, Adas.”

“Apologies Madam Selyne, Clerthew is still preparing your meal as you requested before you left the manor.” he made a bow to show his sincerity.

“Is that so? Well then, Adas.”

“Yes?”

“This boy here needs to be cleaned. Give him something nice to wear once he's done.”

“As you wish madam.” coming to my direction.

“Sir, right this way.” I followed behind him.

“Yes!” I was a little nervous, as Adas had a huge grin and long eyes. They seemed threatening to me. Is he supposed to be a cat?

Once adas showed me to a bathhouse, he gave me a towel and some bar of soap.

“There are clothes I have placed for you, when you are finished with your bath, sir.”

“Yes!” I entered in, and stripped myself. Jumping into the hot steaming bath.

Splash sound effect* Tsssssss~

Once I landed in, I realized that it was extremely hot. In fact it was sizzling hot to the point where it seemed like my skin was going to burst.

Is this what a bath is supposed to be like? I want to scream and leave, but Selyne told me to make sure that I am clean.

Scrubbing myself everywhere I can get to I relaxed in the hot steamy water.

When I stepped out and dried myself with the towel, I noticed that there was a mirror on the outside door. It made me interested, when I could see my own reflection.

Looking at myself, I see that I am incredibly weak looking. Wiping off the smile I had for myself, I go wear the clothes given to me by Adas. They are somewhat too long for me to walk in now that I think about it.

When I got out of the bathhouse, there was a maid standing idly. Walking up to her, she finally noticed me.

“Ah, you must be the young man that Adas told me about. A room has been prepared for you to stay in, please come this way.” I follow obediently, as I don't know what I am doing here.

Once I got into the room. I was amazed with the accommodations it came with. A queen sized bed, fancy chandelier, desk stall, and even a built in bathroom.

“Wow~!” I thought to myself.

Placing a plate in front of me, she poured some water in a cup glass, and said to me.

“Here is your food” She then bowed to me.

“Please enjoy your stay.” leaving me to my own devices once she shut the door.

After eating, I just laid down on the bed. Falling asleep, as there was nothing for me to do in here.

Life couldn't get any better...or so i thought.
