The water is cold. I’m soaked in an instant. The water is dark and grayish. I can’t see through it. This is pointless. But I go deeper anyways. I try using my five senses but everything seems normal except for the color of the water. But then I feel something under me. I see a faint shadow through the murky water. I can’t tell what it is but It seems about my size. Is it a shark? It doesn’t look like it. It isn’t shaped like any fish I’ve seen. I watch as it moves through the water. It starts going in circles around me. That’s not good. I try to get away but I’m too slow. I see the shadow get closer and closer to the surface. Its head comes out of the water and it’s....a person? I stare at it. I must be hallucinating. I need to get out of the cold water. I finally realize how far from the shore I am. I start to panic but then I hear something.
