Deku’s P.O.V
I woke up and saw 8 figures including All Might.
“Where am I?” I asked.
“You are now one of us,” said a voice.
It looked like a pro hero.
“There have been many masters who have held this quirk, and now you are one of them,” she said, “With this quirk, you will do amazing things.”
I was confused.
“You mean, I’ll become a hero?”
“Yes, but before this, you must learn to control and master this quirk. It will not always be easy, but if you trust the people you are surrounded by, you will have a bright future.”
A light started to emerge.
“Wait,” I said, “Wait!”
I woke up on my bed.
“What was that?” I asked.
I was then greeted with a kiss on my cheek.
I thought it was mom, but I turned around to see Uraraka.
“Good morning,” she said smiling.
“Hey,” I said.
I kissed her cheek in return.
“So did you have a weird dream?” She asked me as I got up.
“Well its hard to explain,” I told her, “I saw these strong people and they seemed to have the same quirk I do.”
“You mean the green aura?”
I nodded.
“So…… how are we gonna tell your parents about this?”
I couldn’t answer.
“I guess we should just tell them,” I answered finally.
I took her hand.
“No matter what happens, we’ll get through it together.”
“Get through what together?” Asked my mom.
I turned around to see her and dad looking at us.
“Care to explain what’s going on son?” Dad asked me.
I looked at them.
“Ok, so yesterday after school, something unexpected happened….” I said.
“So you both know that Deku and I have been friends for more than 10 years ever since the day we met,” Uraraka said.
They both nodded.
“And we’ve always had each other’s backs since our childhood days,” I stated, “But over the years, that relationship has gotten…. stronger.”
“I guess what Deku and I are trying to say is…..”
“We’re together,” we said in unison.
There was an awkward silence.
My mom suddenly hugged me.
“OH MY BABY IZUKU!!!!” She said, “I’m so proud of you!!!!”
“I wasn’t expecting this news, but I couldn’t be more happier,” Dad told me patting my shoulder.
“Wait, you’re not mad?”
“As long as our boy is happy we’re fine with this,” Dad said.
Uraraka and I smiled.
Later we were walking to school as the bus was being repaired.
“So how come you wanna be a pro hero?” I asked her.
“Well, there’s one thing I’m doing it for,” she answered, “Money.”
“Money?” I asked.
“Well, your parents have done a lot for me ever since I lost my parents,” she stated, “And I wanna return that favor by helping you guys have an easier life.”
I smiled.
“That’s a great goal,” I said, “I’m sure your parents would be proud of you for what you’re doing.”
She held my hand.
“My dad would’ve really liked you,” she said, “He happens to be a martial artist himself.”
We were in homeroom.
“Ok everyone let’s take our seats,” Iida said, “Homeroom is about to begin!”
“Um…. You’re the only one standing up,” Asui said.
The doors opened revealing Mr. Aizawa.
“Back already?” Mina asked.
“I may have injuries, but I still have a job I need to do,” he said, “But my welfare isn’t important, cause the fight is far from over.”
Everyone was worried.
“Are there more villains to fight?” Mineta asked.
“The Sports festival is coming up,” Aizawa answered.
Some students were excited.
“This is to show that the security systems and such are sound,” Aizawa said, “It’ll be a great opportunity to show the pro heroes what you’re capable of.”
Hw showed us videos of what to expect.
“Many spectators will be watching, and there will be a slight chance that you’ll get picked by your idols,” he said, “You’ll have 3 chances to show them what you’re made of.”
Later we were in the lunchroom.
I was next to Uraraka.
“Man this thing has me pumped,” Kirishima said, “Ready to kick some ass and take names.”
Everyone seemed pumped about this big opportunity.
“Young Midoriya,” All Might said looking at me.
“Ah…. Mr. All Might,” I said.
“So would you like to eat lunch with me?” He asked.
I nodded and said, “Sure.”
I turned to Uraraka.
“I’ll see you later Uraraka,” I said.
She reluctantly let go of my hand.
“I’ll miss you.”
Truth be told, I was hesitant to leave her side even for a minute.
Later All Might was explaining his situation.
“50 minutes?” I asked.
“Yeah, its because of that battle scar I got,” he said, “I can barely contain my muscle form for an hour. But that’s not why I called you here. I wanna talk about the sports festival.”
“What about it?” I asked.
“It seems you’re starting to understand how most of the quirks work such as shooting energy blasts and manifesting weapons out of aura,” All Might explained to me, “It seems like you’re earning some progress. For that I’m proud.”
I smiled.
“Also, it seems like Ms. Uraraka has taken a liking to you as well, and has a great goal within her.”
I blushed at the thought.
“Earlier I had this strange dream,” I told him, “There were these 8 people and you were in it.”
“So you’ve seen the 8 masters,” he said, “There have been 8 people before you including me who have held the Aura Quirk, and now it falls to you.”
“I will take this opportunity to train you both so you are ready for the Sports Festival, and also create some exciting Plus Ultra moves.”
Being trained under All Might?
This was too good to be true.
Later I went to go find Uraraka.
She was face to face with some muscular looking guy.
“I take it you’re the one who they call Uraraka,” he said.
“Um… I am,” she answered.
He got close to her and I could tell she was getting uncomfortable.
“Um could you step back and give me some space?” She asked.
She was pinned to the wall.
“You’re a cute little thing,” he said.
I clenched my fist.
“What do you say we go and grab a bite after school,” he said to her.
I stepped in front of her.
“Hey!” I said, “She’s with me now leave her alone.”
“Excuse me?” He asked.
“You heard me,” I answered, “I won’t tolerate you hitting on my girlfriend.”
“I don’t give a damn who you are, now move.”
“Listen, you don’t know me, and I don’t wanna hurt you,” I said, “Now for your own safety, you’d be best to move.”
He pushed me out of the way.
“I happen to be a former worker alongside Gunhead,” he said, “Just follow Big Jack and I can get you a free internship.”
Uraraka grinned and turned away.
“That won’t be necessary,” she said giving me a hand up, “Come on Deku-kun.”
I followed her.
Big jack was just embarrassed.
“You could’ve humored him,” I said.
“I know, but I had no interest in working with him,” she said, “There may be some students already working with pro heroes, but they’ll never be as cool as you are.”
She walked closer to me and then kissed me on the lips.
“Neither do they taste as good as you.”
Mina took a pic of us for herself giggling.
We spent the next few days training for the Sports Match.
Aside from the two of us training with All Might, Uraraka taught me a few moves herself.
One move included blocking attacks as if I’m opening or closing a locker.
“There you go,” she said, “Those self defense moves should give you buff on the field.”
My quirk was getting better as well. I could create more weapons such as Bo-staves.
Uraraka was no doubt amazed.
“You know, aside from your quirk, I think you’re a fan favorite because you completely destroyed the Hero/Sidekick system,” she told me, “A lot of students were inspired by your quirk, even Momo who has something similar.”
I chuckled.
I was secretly writing something in my journal and she got a sneak peek.
“Is that….. me?” She asked.
I blushed.
“Yes,” I said, “I was doing research on your quirk and I figured…. Why not come up with something that can help you with it.”
She gave me a hug.
“You’re such a sweet boyfriend,” Uraraka said, “I honestly didn’t think we’d be together until at least the end of the 2nd act of this story.”
All Might was looking at us talking.
“Those two might be the heroes this world needs,” he said.
