Konya let out a sigh, sitting at a small café drinking some coffee. “What am I going to do…?” He groaned, thinking.
His thought process went something like this, “You’d think he’d realize by now I’m the one from the accident? He must be dumber than I thought. Nah not dumb… Just really stupid. No… Waaaaay past stupid. More insenisible, in… insen.. no unsensible… Ha yeah incest! Let’s just do incest – my foot, I would.”
After a good hour of this random thinking, Konya decided on his next course of action. Leaving the café with Dareka’s file in hand, he returned to the dojo to talk to Sarah.
“You’re back early,” she said, cooking in the kitchen. Konya just shrugged, dropping the file onto the counter by her. “What’s this?”
“It’s what Dareka’s looking for.”
She whipped her hands before picking up the file to read it. “Hmm? The crash? Why does he want this?”
“He wants to find the one responsible for that boy’s death.”
Sarah snapped the file shut, “I don’t know who he is, but he can’t have this file. You’ve suffered enough for the death of that boy and for him to bring it to the surface again now is cruelty.”
Konya shifted his weight not sure how to respond.
“I’ll be sure to hide this from him.” Sarah answered, walking out of the room with the file.
“Konya!!!!” called Robinson from down the hall.
“What is it?” he asked, instantly annoyed.
“Your sissy’s on the phone!”
“Now what does that brat want?” Konya grumbled as he picked up the phone, “Kay, I got it.” He waited until he heard Robinson hang up before speaking, “Ken-chan, ‘sup? You haven’t called me in a while.”
“Mommy wants you to come home,” came a little girl’s voice.
Konya sighed, leaning against the wall, “I can’t do that. Back there I’m nothing more than a monster.”
“You’re no monster.”
“You only say that cause you’re a li’l kid.”
“You’re no monster!” Konya chuckled a bit, closing his eyes. “Are you coming home soon?”
“Dunno. I’ve got some things to work out here before I’ll be going anywhere, Kenia.” Konya answered, trying to sound like he had plans to return.
“I miss you so you have to come back!”
