Mirrasae: So it begins. I can't tell you just how stoked I am to share this story with you in comic form! It's very dear to my heart, and so different from anything I've shared online before, I really look forward to finding out how you, dear reader, enjoy it. Miko has gone above and beyond to add vibrant details to the art, and really focus on getting the characters just right. Her efforts will truly bring this story to life, and I'm so grateful! Hang on tight. We're in for a wild ride! :D

Miko: I love every one of the many characters Mirra has ever made (even the dumb ones, just for being dumb...), but the lead characters in this particular story are more than dear to me... they speak to me. For that reason, I come home from work each day thrilled and excited to sit down and bring them to life.
I have had these designs in my head in various stages for years, just waiting for this moment, and shockingly, Eman - the most difficult character to draw I have ever conceived (except, perhaps, Lord Ehrikai), has been cooperative and eager to be shown off. :)
The painting is different with this - more detailed, more time consuming, and in many ways, much more fun. I have buried myself in Mirra's weapons reference books for help with guns, tanks and rocket-launchers, and have studied various sci-fi concepts in order to bring you a well-defined and believable visual story.
In short, I really want this to be as fun a journey for you as it is for us. Please, be patient with me as I learn to draw new and foreign objects, and enjoy the world and characters of Kaleidoscope!
