What's in a name?

I thought I was being all clever and artsy when I named my dog after one of my favorite drawing tools, little did I know it would lead to a lifetime of people awkwardly trying not to mispronounce it and suggesting I re-name him something else @_@ Children always seem to say it the worst way.
It also doesn't hep that no dog tag engraving machine can do the accented é so all his tags say "CONT".
