We come into the story with Eckhart being in therapy with his therapist, Tanza. He speaks and vents to her about the overabundance of horrific and somber images that plagues his reeling mind. His Alters come out when he begins to become unstable. White Steven intervenes for a brief moment before being shot out of "front" by the sudden loud noise of the session's timer going off.
Eckhart proceeds to have a melt-down, then Pink Steven takes "front" and pushes memories of the entire system's suffering into Tanza.
In the heat of this, Eckhart manages to pull himself back up to front by engaging in a terrible coping mechanism, causing his alters to be pushed back as well as his heightened emotions. He proceeds to panic over what had just occurred.
Tanza tries to help calm Eckhart further, but only ends up bringing him to the conclusion that he has survived his life up until the present moment...
Eckhart is a survivor...
And we begin to dive into what is known, as the "mindspace" of this troubled child...
