"Guys, we sort of have a problem....., " Caiser said in a quiet voice.
The pile of rubble blocking the road was huge. He could barely see over it even after tilting his head back as far as he could. There was only one option. He had to go back into sniper man range. He quickly reversed and tried to get out of the intersection as fast as possible. Since the streets were all empty and the sniper man could be zooming and aiming at any moment.
Kodan sat up and rubbed his eyes. He had hit the back of the car while Caiser had reversed.
"What's going on....hold up where did this huge pile of rocks come from?" Kodan asked.
"We don't know either. It was just there when we were driving." Caiser explained.
"Well we better get out of sniper man territory. I bet he marked it or something. If he hits me in the heart I'm gonna be wondering if hes Cupid...." Kodan said. "Saranghaeyo, oppa! <3"
Caiser reached the freeway. "Guys, be careful, there's a lot of traffic. It's bumper to bumper and I'm worried we might not be able to get out of the city quick enough."
"Give me the wheel, little bro." Kodan had come out of the back and replaced Caiser as the driver so that they could be able to get out of the "traffic". It was mostly just broken cars and rubble strewn everywhere but, it was just as crazy as normal traffic would be before the crash.
They finally made it out of the city and had taken the most recognizable road on the freeway since most of them were destroyed. Aria and Caiser had both fallen asleep once they left the city. Kodan kept driving steadily. But there were worries nagging in the back of his mind.
What if the next town was just as dangerous? What if they couldn't find fuel for the car? What if they ran out of food? Would they just starve or would they be able to make it out of the U.S. to a country that possibly could not have gotten hit?
It had now been a while since they left the city and driving on the rural road was nerve wracking. There was absolutely no noises since most of the planet had hit this continent. No signs of life anywhere, pin drop silence, it was all as if they were in a horror movie.
